We booked as we were attending a friends birthday party and this is the nearest hotel to their home. Hotel looked quiet swish from the photos and even when we entered, but it was not like that at all. It seemed a bit cheap and a really mish mash of styles. The entrance from the car park is not well... More

Stayed at The White Hart Hotel in Nettlebed for a few days recently, thoroughly enjoyed it, great value, very comfortable, helpful staff and wonderful food! What more can you ask for? We so enjoyed it that we have booked another short break in the months to come. So accessible for Henley, Oxford etc.

We visited this Hotel as part of a Travelzoo offer and our stay included a three course evening meal, board and breakfast. On arrival we were met by a young lady who was extremely helpful and courteous. Although we were early we were allowed to leave our vehicle at the Hotel and explore the surrounding area. We were allocated Room... More

Booked for a one night dinner b&b package . Room near road but with double glazing no issues. Friendly staff and a very good evening meal and breakfast. Wine with meal typical London prices but good choices available. South African "themed" with several cow hide backed seats in the restaurant and several South African wines available and even babote as... More

We stayed at the White Hart through Secret Escapes. I telephoned reception as soon as I booked to ask about the rooms. Debbie on reception was really helpful, asking what was important to me and making recommendations. We'd previously stayed at the sister hotel, the Crown at Playhatch, and enjoyed it very much. Debbie assured me that the White Hart... More

Accommodation was good and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent with nice friendly service. Nice, quiet location for local attractions eg Henley on Thames and Turville (Vicar of Dibley, Goodnight Mister Tom).

We stayed for one night using an offer from Travelzoo which included evening meal and breakfast. The hotel is very quaint, shame it is positioned on a busy road but this didn't worry us too much as we had requested a room at the back, which was through the courtyard. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The evening meal... More

Stayed one night with a voucher that also included an evening meal. The hotel is situated in a quaint village ten minutes from Henley on Thames. They have ample parking and as we arrived early we were able to use the lounge and enjoy a quiet drink. On check in we were taken to our room which is reached through... More

Dropped in for a sunday roast on 4th sept for the first time in about 6 months. I've dined here before and must say that the food has always been excellent but the sunday roast was suprisingly average. The gravy didn't seem to have much taste. The veg selection was rather limited and overall the food was what I would not... More
