Stayed here on a travelzoo deal recently and really nothing but good things to say about it. Pleasantly welcomed. A good enough room, pleasantly furnished with a decent sized TV and a good ensuite shower room with toiletries supplied. Nice enough and comfy traditional bar with accommodating staff. Restaurant fine. Good food and very pleasant staff, though why they want...

Our overnight stay at the The White Heart provided us with a lovely, well appointed room with one of the largest and most comfortable beds we've slept in. Our evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever. The staff were friendly, efficient and more than helpful. An excellent base to stay and visit a...

Stayed one night via a secret escapes deal , so dinner and breakfast included . Normally when I use these type of deals all the extras bump up the price , but not here , the room was a superior room and lived up to it's title , beautiful furniture , fantastic bathroom , brilliant TV and comfy bed. Our room was very nice and the bed nice and comfy. Breakfast was extremely good. I especially rated the fresh fruit salad, which was exactly that. All in all a very...

Fabulous food, great staff and lovely rooms. Rooms at rear in courtyard are best for less noise. Love coming here and have introduced several friends too. Friendly team working hard both day and night. Breakfast was lovely.

We have stayed at their sister pub The Crown at Playhatch a few times and thought we would try this place for a change. Both are fab places and I would recommend both. Stayed via a Secret Escapes deal (and it seems like most people have some sort of deal) and there was very little wrong. Great food and friendly...

Have just returned from an overnight stay with my husband. As another reviewer has said we stayed on a Travelzoo offer including breakfast and 3 course dinner. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly, helpful receptionist who showed us to our room -Cocoa- or number 7.WHAT a wonderful room it is.Not only is it HUGE, a large...

We stayed on a Travelzoo deal in a superior room with dinner and breakfast. We couldn’t fault our stay. The room was large and comfortable with a good walk in shower in the ensuite. The room was on the front of the hotel but the double glazing worked and kept out the road noise. We had a three course dinner...
