We have just returned from a one night stay at The White Hart, booked through Secret Escapes. We wanted somewhere that was not too far from home where we could just have a night away after the hustle and bustle of Christmas. We stayed in Room 9 (Olive) which was a large and well presented room, at the rear of...

Once again I took my mother for Sunday lunch at this very pleasant hotel/restaurant. The restaurant was extremely busy however the staff coped very well as usual. Everything was tip top the service, the food quality, venue & atmosphere. Also for my elderly mother to say time & time again we like it here don't we?! Is testament to the...

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the White Hart Hotel between Christmas & New year. The hotel offers good rooms and excellent food.only 5 miles from Henley and 30 min drive to oxford.so a great base visiting both.also Marlow which is a must to visit. A beautiful town with outstanding character building on the Thames.

Stayed here in between Christmas and New Year with my boyfriend. We arrived early and they let us leave our bags whilst we went on a walk (& they kindly printed off a map for us). The room was lovely, with a huge comfortable bed and a roll-top bath - just what we needed after a long walk! The restaurant...

Disappointed with food, South African influence and left a lot to be desired. We have wide experience of South Africa and dishes seemed dry, and just out of freezer not fresh .Decor in dining area was very much towards animal pelts etc influence, Strange for English Country side.

Lovely country hotel with great rooms....big bath at the end of the bed and a superb shower and a large tv which had probs with internet provider and took some time to sort out. The bar was very pleasant as was the eating area. The food was ok but could have been better..especially the African themed food and my belly pork...

A friend and I stayed for two nights at the end of November and couldn't have been happier with the location to explore the area, the staff were very helpful, the ambience of the hotel and the food was well cooked with the ingredients being of excellent quality. We couldn't fault it.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff and fabulous food. Secret Escapes deal so thought we might have restrictions with regards food but no. Paid extra for a fillet steak which was the best I have tasted for a while. Highly recommend

Travelled on a Travelzoo offer which was great value for money. We had a well thought out out bedroom which was spacious clean with a most comfortable bed. The bathroom was immaculate and overall one of the best rooms we have had in a long time. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was OK which was acceptable...
