Stayed in coble cottage for 4 nights last week, just me and the dog.. This place is brilliant. Situated just off the main road into Staithes harbour, at the top of the hill. Easy to get to everything in the village. Fully equipped with everything, even down to an umbrella. Only tip I'd give is if you are a light...

We stayed in Captains Quarters a large cottage for 12. Excellent sitting room spaces. Dog friendly. Decor slightly dated but to be honest for a big family and two dogs it was great. Fridge freezer and excellent cooker meant you could actually cook a meal. So close to Staithes. Sarah owner is brilliant for local knowledge and quick to act...

Just returned from a fab week in Staithes staying at Coble Cottage. The cottage offered everything we needed. Cosy clean and good location. The only down side was the beds were very flat and not the most comfortable. Lovely gesture of milk and flowers on our arrival. Sarah was very helpful on or arrival. Will definitely return again.

A wonderful place that is clean and well equipped. Every bedroom en suite. Nothing too much trouble for the owners, if you was short of anything then they would get it for you. Its in an ideal place for visiting other places on the yorkshire coast.

We rented Coble for two of us at Spring Bank week. Sadly the weather was very cold and produced gales! However this in no way diminished our appreciation of a lovely place to stay: flowers, milk and biscuits were a lovely touch and the facilities were clean and comfortable. We managed plenty of walks despite the weather and it was always...

We were a party of 9 ranging from 2 to 78 and we were very comfortable. The weather was not the best on the Saturday and we were able to have fun and not get on top of each other! The furnishings are a bit tired, especially the dining chairs, one of which had a very wobbly back! We had...

We originally were down to stop in Whitby for two nights but after finding the place not fit to house pigs we called round for anywhere available. Luckily Sarah came to the rescue and offered us Bosuns Cottage. It was gorgeous inside really cosy and with a beautiful decking area and view. Free parking and also dog friendly. Sarah also...

Fantastic little place to stay, cottage was nice and clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay, well equipped kitchenette and cozy living room too. Staithes is a lovely little place to visit and the pub just across the way had very nice food. If your not a fan of hills it's not for you, we did plenty...

This was a weekend away for the family. We paid a relatively low price for a large group of us for three nights. Yes, essentially the buildings are rather large sheds and yes, some of the decor could do with a spruce up, but, our building was clean, tidy with a welcome gift of cookies, local paper and milk. If...

Is the only word I can think of to describe what amounts to a series of wooden sheds which chickens may like to be housed in, but as for mankind to be in, and paying for the privilege, is again incredible. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, perhaps, but this is really stretching it too far.....
