Found this gem by visiting their website. As a member of Slimming World who is being very careful (!)I especially appreciated their healthy choices items on the menu. Poached fish was delicious. My friends both had the Chicken with Rosemary Sauce. Vegetables were perfectly cooked. The place was busy but the staff were evry friendly and attentive. Will certainly visit...

I have had several Sunday lunches here and never had to complain, but this Sunday OMG greasy roast potatoes and parsnips and extremely sloppy vegetables and then had to wait ages before a member of the staff asked if we wanted a pudding not what we're used to when we come here and not good enough.

Want a basic good meal with no frills and a place for your dog to come too, then this is your place. Need to book as it is popular and the locals like too. Dogs allowed in bar if you ring ahead of your visit. Good menu. Good service and reasonable prices.

Our Saturday lunchtime visits to this pub (two couples) for a pub lunch over the past few years has always been a visit to look forward to. A good traditional pub with excellent ales and good quality food. We have also taken visitors from the South here and they have been impressed. The prices are in the main reasonable (a...

Heard a lot of good reports about the Sunday carvery so thought we would try it. We were shown to our table in the conservatory, once we got settled at the table we headed for the carvery , the beef was very scrag end looking and the pork and turkey looked a little dry , none of these meats looked...

The extensive menu is well served and good quality. There are over 60’s deals in Wednesdays and fish specials on Fridays. Every meal we have eaten here has been excellent quality and value. We would recommend the steaks and gammon, and the home cooked ham is superb.

We chose the Waggon & Horses as we were looking for a venue in Lincolnshire near the coast and it turned out to be an excellent decision. Jean and Nigel could not have been more helpful in the planning of our party and went out of their way to meet our requirements. The room (the conservatory ) was beautifully prepared...

Camped in the field and ate in the restaurant. Campsite First, despite being a quiet campsite, it was a pleasant stay - perhaps boring if I hadn't taken my friends. (Easy drive to Mablethorpe) Restaurant Staying in many places across the country, I know that when you have a country pub next to the campsite, the venue have a tendancy...
