I don't really k ow what to make of my stay here. The staff were super friendly. Really made me feel welcome. The room was quite the opposite. Very creeky floor boards as soon as you enter. Damp patches on the ceiling. The bathroom is in desperate need of modernising. The shower was either very hot or very cold, no... More

You can see that once this hotel had an important place in the town. However, the rooms though comfortable lack a wow factor to make you want to come back. That said the service in the restaraunt was excellent the wine waiter was attentive and breakfast wast what ever you asked it to be from the menu.

I stayed for two nights recently and was very pleased with my room. It was obviously one of the refurbished ones. The bathroom was beautiful. Lovely big shower with a big Shower head, very modern basin and toilet and modern tiles. My bed was a small double and very comfortable. I had everything I needed like a flat screen tv,... More

Having stayed 1 night that was enough. The room was clean bed ok but it seemed to be shared with a college of some sort or other so quite a bit of noise. good sized car park at the rear. market harborough is a lovely town with an abundance of shop's cafe's all within walking distance.

This place needs a total referb. Was recommended by the business show organiser. The room: As soon as you walk in your room the floor boards creak. The room next doors floor creaked so loud that when the person entered loudly late at night (3 nights) I heard every footstep they were making across the room until they got into the... Have never stayed here as we live local. However we have eaten here a few times and I have to say OMG what a fabulous salad you get with your food, not the usual lettuce, tomato and cucumber, but peppers, celery, olives, sun blushed tomatoes, gherkins and so much more. The menu is a little limited but what you do... More

I stayed here for one night last weekend and have to say it was a lovely hotel. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection of cereal and the cooked breakfast was delicious, wonderful service from the waiter too. I didn't eat there in the eve as the rugby... More

Wonderful friendly staff and a menu that changes each week keeps it interesting and something to look forward to for a regular visitor like myself. The Chefs mixed salad is quite exceptional and must be tried as it compliments most dishes on the menu and is an easy quality alternative for the more well known salads ....eg Waldorf Salad ..!!... Stayed for 2 nights .The room was dated and needs a total refurbishment. The bathroom was also grubby. The bed was comfortable and I slept well . Breakfast could be better only continental Mondays and the full English wasn't huge. Its not luxury by any means but it wasn't terrible

The first room I was put in was a smoking room, it was a hole (beware smokers), tiny, smelly, and shabby. Being a non smoker I went back to reception and requested a non smoking room (as on my original booking). The reception staff begrudgingly looked into me moving rooms, and was not very helpful or friendly. My next room... More
