Great location on the main street through town, free parking behind the hotel and a lovely, fresh cooked breakfast. Not bad for the rate we paid but needs a refurb. It's an old building so expect creaky floorboards and if your room is near the back expect a long walk from the stairs on uneven floors - this was fun...

We stayed here for one night. Good location right in town walking distance to everything. Staff where friendly and helpful. Rooms are ornate just a bit tired but ok. Parking on site is available but a tight if you have a large car. With the front widow open there was quite a bit of road noise.

Lovely old character building so expect creaky floorboards and windy passages, but clean room, comfy beds, tea/ coffee facilities and modern bathroom. Staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful... We were really made to feel at home! Would definitely stay again :)

I don't really k ow what to make of my stay here. The staff were super friendly. Really made me feel welcome. The room was quite the opposite. Very creeky floor boards as soon as you enter. Damp patches on the ceiling. The bathroom is in desperate need of modernising. The shower was either very hot or very cold, no...

You can see that once this hotel had an important place in the town. However, the rooms though comfortable lack a wow factor to make you want to come back. That said the service in the restaraunt was excellent the wine waiter was attentive and breakfast wast what ever you asked it to be from the menu.

I stayed for two nights recently and was very pleased with my room. It was obviously one of the refurbished ones. The bathroom was beautiful. Lovely big shower with a big Shower head, very modern basin and toilet and modern tiles. My bed was a small double and very comfortable. I had everything I needed like a flat screen tv,...

Having stayed 1 night that was enough. The room was clean bed ok but it seemed to be shared with a college of some sort or other so quite a bit of noise. good sized car park at the rear. market harborough is a lovely town with an abundance of shop's cafe's all within walking distance.
