Travellers' Choice
It may be one of the Haven Ports, but there's a lot more to Harwich than boats and water, as a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Harwich will tell you. We're great as a stopover if you're catching the ferry, but there's also plenty to do here even if you're not sailing away. Spend your morning wandering the picturesque streets of Harwich, stumbling across some delightful buildings that date back centuries. Or catch a train to Colchester, Britain's oldest town, to see the castle or visit the world-famous zoo. The Edwardian seaside town Felixstowe is nearby too. Then come back to the hotel for some tasty food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely, comfy bed.

Always stay here when visiting family. All the staff are so polite and friendly, especially Estelle on reception. Big thank you to Tracey for a lovely clean room, could not fault it. Lovely clean hotel. All the covid 19 sanitizing stations are in place. Free parking stops it off. Had a lovely meal in the Brewers next door and was served by Lewis. Great service and friendly chat. Highly recommended hotel

The staff and the hotel were very well organised regarding the present health situation with clear distancing signs etc. and I received a warm welcome on arrival. I had actually stayed here many years ago prior to joining Tripadvisor and the facilities are as good as ever. My room was very clean, comfortable and warm so I had a restful night. On this occasion, I did not have a breakfast as the friends I was visiting had arranged it elsewhere. The hotel has ample car parking spaces, but I suggest anyone checking in obtains confirmation from one of the obliging reception staff that they have left their car in one of the hotel parking spaces as it has been known for guests to leave their vehicle in a car park belonging to one of the neighbouring shops and were subsequently fined. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending the Harwich Premier Inn and thank the staff members who I met for their courteous welcome.

Another comfortable stay at the Premier Inn Harwich. Safe...all regulations were applied at the Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was, as usual, most comfortable affording a great nights sleep.
