Lovely welcome, breakfast was splendid, traditional English with all the trimmings. Quiet location but still close enough to walk into town centre, which is about a 10 minute walk, and good value. Would definately come again.

We stayed last Saturday night. Gerry and Pat are good hosts and the bedroom and dining room are great. At breakfast - linen napkins, Frank Cooper marmalade and a proper butter dish to name just a few stylish touches and splendid plate of food. Huge ensuite bathroom with a decent sized shower cubicle

Gerry and Pat are great hosts, very comfortable, excellent breakfasts in the dining room which has many treasures to feast the eye on. Only a short walk into Blandford's interesting market town. Bonus of car parking at the Lodge.

We received a very warm welcome the second we arrived which made us feel very relaxed. Very comfortable and clean, ideally located for all the town's amenities and only about a 4 mile shuttle bus ride to the Great Dorset Steam Fair. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. A beautiful little garden area to sit out in if you... More

We chose to stay because it was walking distance of the Community Hospital where my husband had an early appointment. We stayed one night only. We had comfortable room which had a king size bed, a fantastic walk in shower, and also a bath. There was a hospitality tray with generous supplies and good quality biscuits! the host couple were... The house was nice, our room was good with a wonderful shower, which is just what you need after a day cycling. The breakfast was great too. We were made very welcome and our tandem locked away for us overnight. The middle of town for meals was just a short walk away. Can't fault it.

Clean, comfy ensuite room. Friendly couple with a very friendly dog (but not annoying). 5 minutes walk into the high street. 10 minutes walk from Hall and Woodhouse Brewery and visitors centre, home of Badger beer. Yummy breakfast. Nothing to much trouble.
