Chose this Hotel for it's location, only 10 minute walk down to the harbour. We were there for a two night break 2nd & 3rd March. Very friendly & helpful staff, special thanks to Les, the duty Manager for all his advice on local beauty spots and general knowledge about Lyme Regis plus the excellent, personal service he gave us....

A quirky looking place, full of character. Room was quite spacious, and very clean and well presented. Shower was nice and strong, always a sign of a well-maintained place! Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the quality of the food at dinner time was outstanding. The only thing that let it down was a slightly slow service at breakfast time....

We stayed at the Mariners as a short getaway. The Hotel is painted pink and looks from the outside like a large quaint cottage. Easy access to the centre of town - 10 minutes walk and a little longer to get down to the harbour and Cobb. The hills are steep so it will take you a little longer to...

The ceiling in our room was so low, my husband could not stand up! Clearly rooms have been crammed into the roof space and are small and cramped. I didn't like the "no drinking water" sign in the shower room. Apparently, this is because the water is stored in a tank, something I do find slightly worrisome, and they have...

The restaurant was closed, other than for breakfast...it would have been useful to have known that before we arrived so that we could have booked an evening meal elsewhere 😰 Comfy bed, nice window seat and great parking 😄

Extremely over rated and over priced. Shower ceiling completely covered in mould, shower accessories rusty, bathroom, obviously a converted cupboard, so tiny you couldn't move. Loo cistern didn't refill, flush button so far into wall I nearly sliced my fingers trying to push it. Bath emptied faster than it filled as plug didn't fit. Whole place needs a makeover. Chef...

Stayed here on an overnight trip to Lyme Regis, and can't fault it. Lovely, bright room, comfortable bed, hot shower, and delicious breakfast. Everyone friendly and helpful, and in a good location for access to Lyme shops and harbour. Definitely recommend

Stayed for two nights in a double room and had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay and large shower! Full English breakfast was delicious and views from the dining area were very pleasant. Outside garden was pretty and had a...

We stayed for 1 night in a double room (the same room that we had stayed in the previous year). The hotel is very quaint and picturesque, some rooms having sea views. There is adequate parking across the road in the Hotel's car park. Our room was bright and very comfortable with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was served in the...

This is a great hotel. Really close to the centre of Lyme Regis - genuine walking distance to the Cobb and all attractions. All the staff were friendly, helpful and extremely pleasant. Breakfast was great - with a good choice of good food and served promptly with a smile. We booked the family room and our grandson adored his small...
