Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile The hotel is really well run by a great team, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a restaurant team work so well before, sounds a little extreme but really can’t praise them highly enough. Attentive without being ‘in your face’ and all seemed genuinely happy...More

The answer on 22nd March 2018 is no dogs allowed, supported by the very unwelcoming sign adorning the front door to the premises. The rules change on a sporadic basis running to a formula that I cannot translate into common sense. One week dogs allowed. Another week dogs not allowed. We shall be avoiding any embarrassment in the future by avoiding the Red Lion and will take our custom elsewhere. Shame.

Porridge is to order, sugar free muesli and bran flakes. The hotel is very happy to support dietary needs just give them prior notice.

Handy for the pretty restuarant."
