We stayed here for the first couple of nights of our honeymoon. Clean room, nice staff and decent food. The breakfast was lovely and we would come back. Beautiful view at breakfast across the Cobb and very central location.

The pub looked very nice from the outside and so we went in to find that the it had recently been refurbished. It did not have a pub atmosphere and felt more like café. The bar staff and waitresses were very attentive and went out of her way to accommodate us. Very nice and professional. Sadly the food was not...

Popped in for lunch and a pint yesterday with four members of my family and was extremely disappointed from start to finish, the barman was a proper misery guts and had a look of contempt for anyone who dared to order a drink. Three of us ordered the paella at £12.95 a pop and were each served a bowl of...

We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. The room was bright and newly decorated and the whole place was very clean and comfortable. We didn't have an evening meal there, but breakfast was excellent. All staff members were very friendly and overall this is a place that we would strongly recommend.

To be fair, this review is probably tainted by the mood of the day. Perhaps visiting the Cobb out of season might have provoked a better review - so don't let me put you off! We struggled terribly to find anywhere to park, struggled to drive back out of Lyme to the park and ride because of traffic jams and...

Disappointed is an understatement probably the most disgusting food I have ever eaten stale deep fried brie on a bed of salad that looked and tasted like yesterday's, the chips we ordered had that taste you get when the fryer oil hasn't been changed for a long time all in all a waste of money as it was just inedible...

This is a pub, not an hotel so we were unsure before visiting. What a great surprise we had. The room was of a very good standard with lots of facilities, a good shower room and comfortable bed, and the view of the Cobb was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was...

Nice place, not too big, not too small, right by the Lyme Regis "Cobb" harbour. Clean. Decent selection of food, slightly upmarket food prices as expected in such a location. Drinks seemed noticeably more pricey than used to - but maybe because soft drinks are all bottled, not from a tap. Nice selection of real ales for local brewer Palmers....

Look at the picture as that is what you'll be getting into, a darling old pub, well kept up with friendly service. It is located right across the the walk way from a popular beach and the long promenade cobb (pier) extending out into the sea to form a harbor for small boats. The 3 rooms upstairs are compact yet...

Stopped for a bit of lunch. We were a little early so I bought a pint of copper, never had this before but oh how good it was, I then ordered our meal which seemed to take about 30 seconds and there it was in front of us hot and very tasty.the staff were all very polite and helpful food...
