great stay for three nights, nicely decorated room with loads of space and two ( for a change in a B&B ) comfortable chairs to relax in in the room, don't go expecting the Hilton, just very good homely welcome and easy going host .

Set down a country lane about a 5 minute drive from Moretonhamstead. You really are right in the middle of the lovely Devon hills. Really warm welcome from all at Sloncombe Farm. Rooms are exactly as you would imagine in a proper old farmhouse.Hope to be back soon.

The house itself is a really old country house with a lot of character, rooms decorated with pretty collection of photos, china, old glass, teddy bears, flowers... Great to see so many positive reviews of this B&B. I still remember staying there to this day, and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a 'home made'...

Lovely place. Good location for us as walkers and cyclists but very hilly so not suitable for all unless you drive everywhere. Town just a 20 minute walk. Chagford also not far. Can recommend the Union Pub. May not look like much but decent home cooked food and cheeky, funny landlord. Also do the river walk to Fingle Bridge Inn....

The room itself is spacious, but the bath room is very small but OK. The breakfast is fantastic and a lot of self made and local products. It taste wonderful and the...
