Yes a little quirky but find this property to be in a great setting with lots of charm. If you want a room perfectly maintained don't bother, if you want character and a great breakfast this is for you! Dennis is hospitable and a great character also.

I think you have the wrong place as we closed at the end of January 2017 & certainly no one named Dennis here !!

An extremely comfortable small country hotel. The restaurant is wonderful, the restaurant would easily stand on its own. We were made to feel very welcome especially with our dog. We would happily return.

This was our second stay at Blagdon this year, and it absolutely justifies repeat visits. The food outshines top South West restaurants e.g Driftwood, Abode, etc yet for a similar price to a dinner with wine in those places, you get so much more at Blagdon: The rooms are beautifully presented and the grounds are spectacularly tranquil. It's one of...

We finally got to visit Blagdon Manor after it has been recommended by friends several times. It did not disappoint and was the perfect weekend get-a-way for anyone wanting a peaceful location with superb food. The location is easy to find and so quiet and undisturbed, even by west country standards. Our room was stunning with a huge bed and...

We usually stay here for our wedding anniversary for total relaxation so have stayed here about 4 times. Fancied another stay and Steve & Liz are still working hard to continue their high standard at Blagdon. Stayed in the Larkworthy room which is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views, huge bed and stunning bathroom. Food is literally mouth watering - we...

Lovely setting for this Hotel/Restaurant with rooms, far reaching views, beautiful gardens and walks round the fields. We were greeted by Steve who was chasing around on his sit on mower, Liz arrived with their chocolate labs, lovely girls all 3, and so so good. Our room was dual aspect, and large. Arriving in a shower the area was enveloped in cloud, even then, the hotel had lovely distant country views. As the weather cleared the true garden and surrounding fields came to life. Our room had dual aspect and was a lovely size. The bathroom was an amazing size too. Nothing had been left out, even biscuits for the dog and...
