We were lucky to find such an excellent B&B that ticked all the boxes. The location, spotlessly clean accommodation, quality towels and bed linen, exceptional breakfasts and at all levels, an attention to detail. Even more impressive, was the passion that Jane and Geoff have for not only ensuring that where possible their guests needs are met but they also...

Delighted to have stayed recently at the Althea library. We originally booked it as the bigger hotels in the area were all full but the Althea library will be now be our first choice on future visits. Beautiful room and the best breakfast in Padstow!.. Happy days!.

Due to family and lifestyle changes it had been many years since we last stayed with Jane and Geoff at the Althea Library. Nothing had changed, still the very warm welcome and spotlessly clean and cozy rooms. The rooms are comfortable and well thought out with all the little extras that make life easy. The bonus of on-site parking and a gentle...

What a find! I can't really add much to all there other reviews except concur with all the positive comments. We stayed in the Puffin Suite which was stunning with such an attention to detail. Its clear that so much thought has gone into the look and feel and to make every detail perfect. It's of a standard - in...

Booked in a rush as surprise for hubby and he was lurking! I don't bother reading reviews anyway just saw it and liked it; so glad I did. Cannot fault it, spotless, beautiful place, fab breakfasts. If anything it was just too warm and that's coming from the Ice Queen herself!!

This is such a lovely place, a real home from home. We have stayed in all the rooms here over the years but this was our first time in inglenook cottage. As ever it was lovely with everything you could possibly need for your short break, it is so well equipped & every little detail has been thought of. We...

We arrived on a warm and sunny September day, parked easily in the rear car park and then warmly greeted by Geoff with coffee and delicious granola bar. The Puffin Suite was very comfortable with a cosy sitting room, luxurious bathroom and beautiful bedroom. Lovely breakfasts, 5 minutes from the harbour and a choice of great restaurants. Recommended to all...

Visited for the third time and again a lovely stay. Jane and Geoff are so welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are so comfortable with lovely finishing touches and the breakfasts are delicious, the best we've had. We got engaged whilst we were in Padstow and told Jane on checkout. A few...
