Well kept and maintained rooms, bar and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile for guests. They state on their own wed site that it can get noisy over the weekend but to be honest, other than in the bar itself we found it fine. Only small irk was the car park is small and you...

Decided to stay here for a restful few days .... Arrived after 5 hours travel to a busy noisy pub with no one to check us in. Room was clean ~ basic but by no means "superior" as booked Lots of appliances off a single extension lead and noisy sani pump system toilet drain .... Shower tray was almost overflowing...

Great ambience Friendly service Curry was delicious and my boy said his burger was the best he had ever tasted! Try this pub and enjoy the food - it's great We didn't use the hotel but if it's like the pub then I'm sure it will be clean and nicely decorated

We booked one night this week to see the local area. We were pleased at how easy the whole trip was. The staff communicated well meaning we never had to repeat ourselves. I ordered the parsley hake for dinner. It was great. Breakfast was easy. No noise either. Was much quieter than expected! Our room was directly over the front...

We are big fans of Cornish fish and chips. And have been big fans and regular diners at the Molesworth. A telling lesson is do not be complacent. We ordered from habit, without checking the menu. A mistake. First sign of change, smaller round plates. But sufficient to hold the 'chunk of hake' on the menu. Instead of large cod...

Bad start when the 0700 website advertised breakfast turned into "we've never done breakfast that early, sir". However, we persevered and rewarded with a very good room, probably converted stables out the back, although friends had room above bar which was noisy. Good breakfast too, although lacked the odd side plate and pot of tea. Website breakfast times have been...

Gorgeous quaint hotel in a superb location for exploring Cornwall. Accommodation basic but very clean and good value. We had two delicious dinners in the bar and the full English breakfast was enormous and delicious. Great Rs be of choice for breakfast. Staff friendly and obliging. Off street parking minimal but managed it each night. Would definitely stay again.

Several of our group stayed at the Molesworth Arms and they found the staff to be excellent and the rooms comfortable. The whole group enjoyed an excellent meal there - great service, food and value for money. A very lively and fun place to be!

Not easy to find by car. Had to ask local ladies for directions to the car park, which is fairly limited for space. Warm welcome, once we had found the entrance. Pub interior is quaint (old), reflecting the age of the inn. Room was a real pleasure. Warm, modern, good facilities. Stayed Saturday night and were advised disco till late....

Top notch service - staff forever anxious to satisfy your needs. Extremely clean, comfortable bedding/bed - quiet situation with tea and biscuits. Hotel is well situated in the town with most amenities to hand. Good varied menu came top of my list along with the charming bedrooms but lack of parking was a real no-no
