We needed to stay at Rushlake Green for one night and my brother in law suggested Courtlands farm. For anyone wanting to spend a few days exploring the area or walking this a lovely place to stay and relax. There is a very comfortable lounge for visitors with lots of reading material available as well as a TV. Our room...

We note that our last review was in 2007. We are delighted to say that it is just as superb as ever and for all the same reasons. Trish remains on outstanding form and we have no hesitation in recommending Courtlands as a wonderful stopover for Glydebourne and all the other wonderful places to visit in that area.

A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing weekend, the ideal base for a wedding invite in a nearby village. We had the joy of spending two nights in a quaint bedroom with super views over the cottage gardens in a totally unspoilt old farmhouse, full of character and warmth. Our host Trish, was extremely accommodating providing everything from a wide and nutritious...

Having discovered Courtland's Farm by accident many years ago, we now find ourselves drawn back to it and the beautiful Sussex countryside whenever we are lucky enough to get back across to the UK. We have tried to push ourselves to try elsewhere but whenever I ask my travelling companions where they would like to visit on our summer trip,...

We had such a lovely couple of days staying at the Courtlands farm. We hadn't been there before but were welcomed like we were old friends, and we were treated as such. This is a real home from home, a really interesting house, a beautiful garden, and such care taken over the little details that make you feel that you...

We have stayed in some impressive B&B's during our many months of travel, and Courtlands Farm is up there with our favourites. The house is picture postcard, and in a beautiful setting- it is peaceful, clean, stylish, charming, welcoming, homely and top quality. The area is handy to many places of interest, including Battle, Rye and Rudyard Kipling's house. We...

My stay was for one night only, sadly, whilst in East Sussex for a business meeting and what a gem. Quintessentially English, magnificent room, finest attention to detail and what glorious hosts Trish and Goff are. Loved it so much, my wife and myself are now planning a weeks stay during the summer.

An absolutely beautiful house, a great - welcome, generous hospitality, a luxurious bedroom and the use of a beautiful sitting room - all followed by a superb breakfast. It simply could not have been a better.

Since staying at Courtlands Farm a few years ago and enjoying the experience immensely we had vowed to return as soon as circumstances would allow. Unfortunately this took a little over two years and I had so looked forward to getting back to visit this East Sussex gem and the wonderful Goff and Trish that i was a little nervous...

We were lucky to get a last minute overnight stay at Courtlands Farm due to a last minute cancellation and couldn't have been happier. The reviews we read we're all spot on! On arrival we opened the large double gate and as we drove up the driveway Trish appeared to greet us with a warm welcome, offered to carry our...
