Before anything else, let me say the Dukes Head has loads of positive points; the decor is great and the rooms are well appointed, it's in a good location and the breakfast was very nice. However when I stayed for 2 nights last weekend - one with my sister, the night before my wedding, and one with my husband on...

Had a good stay lovely room everything you need, tea and coffe and biscuits, nice touch was a bit cold in there though. Dinner nice, we just had 2 courses, breakfast ok. It was very handy for the corn exchange opposite the hotel. Good show on there. Rod Stewart tribute was brilliant,I would go back, if something on I wanted...

Booked an afternoon tea for a friends birthday. Easy to book, service was splendid as was the afternoon tea. Very traditional, and had as much tea as you liked. Very polite staff and made our afternoon extra special.

Stayed on a deal which was very good value. Our room was pleasant and comfortable and clean. No view but did not matter for the one night and it was very quiet. Nice bathroom with good shower and bath. Food also good for dinner and breakfast plus a cream tea which we had in the new bar. Staff were pleasant...

Very Impressive Building from outside. Just as impressive inside. Comfortable seating in a very relaxed atmosphere. Interior is very smart & very well furnished. A warm welcome at Reception. Comfortable room & beds. Given a family room as I took my mother. No bath but shower with lovely hot water, although dials a little stiff to turn. Nice quiet ,...

We have stayed here many times while visiting family. We are never disappointed and it just seems to improve on each visit. Afternoon tea was wonderful and the new cocktail is beautiful. Location is right on Tuesday market square couldn't be more central.

We returned to The Dukes Head for complimentary cocktails and a three course evening meal after a mix up late November when our reserved dinner table was accidentally given to another party. Darryl, the Dukes Head manager very apologetic and offered another evening, incorporating the newly opened Massey & Co Bar. We returned in January and had a lovely evening....

Stayed overnight on Sunday. Was able to check in at 1:30 and straight to room. Visited with the Travelzoo deal and was well worth paying the £10 upgrade to stay in the old part of the hotel. Becky on Reception was very friendly and accommodating. We parked in the hotel car park and logged our details onto the screen in...

This lovely, charming looking, central location hotel could sweep you off your feet at first glance. Until you come in past bouncers for their new (and very noisy if in the rooms with a view at the front, as no double glazing) bar, which is also open to non-residents until late. Then the receptionist greeted us with a frosty demeanour...

Went to the cocktail bar for a friends 50th celebration. Our friends even had the courtesy to notify the management that there would be quite a few people arriving at a specified time which they accepted without a fuss. Peter G - Thank you for your feedback. Your comments are totally wrong and not representative of what actually happened on Saturday. An enquiry was received from Claire last week to ask about 50 guests coming to Massey on Saturday to celebrate a 50th Birthday. She was advised that we would be unable to accommodate a large group on a...

Kings Lynn is serviced by regular trains to London and serves as an ideal location for discovering Norfolk. North Norfolk is an ideal tourist destination.
