Fab location and service … very friendly staff.. great rooms.. breakfast lots of choice & included in our room rate … superb views .. parking can be very challenging in peak periods .. pizza are wonderful .. easy walks around the area Horstead Mill nearby …. Canoes and paddle boards available for hire (thecanoeman.com) separate company from the Rising Sun

Just had our evening meal @ The Rising Sun brilliant experience; food great all the staff were welcoming but a special shout out to Morgan & the manager who were very helpful their customer service was outstanding - definitely worth a visit we will call again ASAP!!!

So we had great food and drink - the staff we fantastic and the we had a super night We had a lift booked for 10pm due to COVID restrictions however they were late. So we sat in the porch waiting for the lift and we were asked to leave due to COVID - £320 bill which we thought was good value and the kicked out of the porch - that was a little poor

We had a couple of nights here and really enjoyed it. Our room was a food size, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good although the portions are a little large! All the staff without exception were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Top notch food great service too thoroughly recommend and right by river ideal for night moored up staff very friendly and helpful best restaurant by far that we visited on a week's boating holiday definitely recommend
