Our is a family ran business and we tried to create a homely environment within the accommodation. The rooms have been designed to give our guests a very comfortable stay. Additionally, the accommodation is located nearby a shopping centre, shops and tourist attractions so it's quite easy to get around.

This is an old building with a quaint ambience about it and the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked. The location could not be better for the town centre - just park up and walk to wherever you want to be.

Arriving by train, my sister and I rolled our suitcases about 10 minutes toward the harbor. We located Napule fairly easily. It's across from Byron Place and the oceanfront. The ground floor of the building is a restaurant. Up a flight of stairs to what the British call the first floor is a reception room and the Napule restaurant. Francesco came down and carried our bags up to our room on the second floor. There is so lift, so would be difficult for those with some handicaps. The building is old and charming. We stayed in room 2 with 2 single beds for 9 days. The beds were comfy and we slept well aided by day long sea glass collecting or travel to nearby cities to explore. We had everything we needed in the rooms, including toiletries, refrigerator, tea, coffee, cookies and heated towel rack. Francesco and staff were amazing. We felt like family by the time we left! Loved being greeted in the morning with Italian cappucino during our included breakfast..I personally loved the bacon, which to an American would be ham. The location made it easy for us to get anywhere we needed to go without a car. There are 3 bus stops outside the hotel, the train station is a short walk away, and the beaches are a walk away for the moderately fit. The Napule was the icing on the cake. It was great to come "home" after each day away. Please do not give too much credence to the negative posts. Perhaps they were expecting a Hilton type hotel, not the delightful ambience of the Napule.

You can feel the springs from the mattress in room 4 it’s so cheap and nasty and it’s really creaky every time you turn over. I had possibly the worse nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Woke up the next day in a lot of pain. Asked to be moved rooms, first they wanted more money then said they had no more rooms! Manager very friendly on the surface but not so if you complain, his reaction to my complaint re bed was to say... no one has ever complained before!! My two day Birthday trip was ruined by staying here 😢

We stayed 3 nights for business reasons in the area. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower spacious. We had the double room overlooking the back, directly above the kitchen. From 08:30 am to 9pm you get the noise of the kitchen fan and worse, the smells. The staff are friendly enough but there is a distinct lack of wprofessionalism. The fire alarm went off three times whilst we were having dinner the first night and the manager was just running up and down the stairs not saying anything! Rather puzzled we asked whether to evacuate and he informed us that it was children who had pressed the button. The food was truly awful, probably from find and cheap wholesale shops. The ricotta and spinach tortellini had a distinct lack of either ingredients and came in a sickly dolcelatte sauce. The tomato soup was horrible, concentrated and probably about 4 table spoons worth. The pizza truly awful too, soggy crust and too much cheese it was swimming in it. The worse of all was the salmon. I asked for the lobster bisque to be taken out and no sauce, just a slice of lemon. It came with a very oily orange sauce and when I queried it, was told it was a white wine and garlic sauce, it certainly didn't taste like it. I was violently sick during the night with food poisoning and had to stay in bed the next day. When chakkenged, the manager said the salmon was fresh and we pointed out that it food poisoning can occur in other ways such as poor hygiene or food handling. Indeed, I had pointed out to my husband the night before that the chef's apron looked very dirty. There was also a strange green light which came on in the room in the middle of the night, which can't be switched off and is an emergency light.Avoid at all cost, there are surely better places nearby.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The service was exceptional, friendly and made me feel like we were part of the family. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and we had our own bathroom. We had a sea view from our room. Fresh towels everyday and a wonderful breakfast including a delicious Cappuccino or latte. Fresh baked bread! I could not give it a higher recommendation. After a long day at the beach it is so nice, to have a welcoming smile and hello when you return. It was an awesome experience. A++
