Stayed at the orange tree with group of friends, the welcome was brilliant , rooms good, breakfast was very good and evening meals were excellent, the place was full of locals who also ate there so that tells you something about the place, very friendly atmosphere, the village is a lively place and we would definitely go back.

Staying at the Orange Tree as I write this so it's still fresh in my mind. First of all the fact that they give you a night free when booking a two night stay makes this hotel extremely affordable. We paid £180 between two of us for our own room for three nights which worked out at just £30 per...

We have visited the Orange Tree for pub food several times over the past few years and been extremely delighted. My wife and I visited Saturday last (Sept 17) for the first time in a few months. first impression was how quiet. No menus on table. On viewing menu we noticed a significant price increase. The food quality was good...

Six of us stayed at the Orange Tree for one night last week. We were made very welcome, the rooms were fine and comfortable. Really enjoyed the beer selection and good meals in the bar. Only problem was that the black pudding and haggis starter came without the haggis!! We got over it and had a great evening. Look forward...

Heard such great things about steak night so we went on a rare childless Sunday night. Ordered the sirloin medium rare but it came very over cooked. Nobody bothered to come and ask if we needed anything and the barman didn't even ask if everything was OK when we paid the bill. Bad food and bad service.

Simply amazing, I've eaten in this pub for countless years, it never fails to impress me and my friends! I had the millionaires breakfast on my last visit and my girlfriend had the fillet steak, cooked precisely to our liking, impressed is a understatement!😀🌟

Recently visited for lunch with my husband and I chose the chilli con carne which came with chips and a large side salad and was absolutely delicious! My hubby had the fish and chips and said the same, would definitely go again.

Just stayed for a night at this lovely pub in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale and two minutes from Ruskins view by the church A real gem. Old style pub beams and lovely ales. We didn't stay here for the evening meal but the breakfast was lovely. We stayed in a lovely clean room. Staff were very friendly and accomodating....
