Stayed in one of the Cottages with own parking slot outside as x2 Adults x3 Kids, Fresh Bedding/Towels/Toiletries. TV in each room if needed. Nice continental breakfast with fresh pastries from the local patisserie. Will stay again as it's a good stop over post Mountain walks in the Lakes.

The King's Arms is a good central spot in this attractive town. We came (a long way) for a wedding reception in the next village and knew there would be a lot of people looking for places to stay. The cottage idea was a real plus - it was good to be able to sit in comfort in a lounge...

Stayed with a party of ladies in one of the cottages. They are small but neat little houses, in a quiet little alley, but close enough to the pub to nip in for a hearty breakfast before you enjoy all that North Yorkshire has to offer! Will be returning.

We visited the Kings Arms as a small group of friends to test/taste the ales in the area. The accommodation was in two small cottages at the back of the pub. The rooms were: functional, clean, tidy. The pub itself is simple, with an exceptional inglenook fire place. Hobgoblin Golden beer was lovely. All in all a good weekend with...

We loved our stay at the Kings Arms, it was such a nice surprise having a little cottage which was so quirky and a lovely location. We took our dog Bella which was idea for her as there was plenty of space and many dog friends places near by. Ryan was very friendly and helpful, and nothing was to much...

We didn't stay here but we drank here for a lot of our stay in Kirkby Lonsdale and what a great find. Host Ryan is very friendly and made the stay even more memorable. The pub is a sports bar with split screens to keep everyone happy. It also offers a pool table and darts board to to keep you...

Last stop on our tour of lakes and dales with the dogs. If you want no frills, comfy base with dogs in centre of town location with free park perfect. Cottages have bedroom with tv and lounge with pull put bed and tv. No breakfast but options on door step. Good clean basic.

We expected a room but found ourselves in a tiny cottage behind the pub with a downstairs lounge area and lovely big bedroom and small shower room upstairs. Very good breakfast freshly made to order. Friendly welcome This was a great change from the bland chain hotels we often use. Definitely reserve a parking place.

Arrived on bank holiday monday to stay for one night and the on site car park will only fit 3/4 cars and is not obvious to find. The room turned out to be a little cottage out the back of the pub which we initially thought was great as it was spacious and centrally located in the village. However it...
