We had an excellent three nights ( more on this later!) and the location is perfect opposite the Port. The old town is no more than a 5. minute walk and then to access the beaches its 5 mins the other way. The rooms are excellent and very environmentally considered. Good size bathrooms, well appointed bedrooms and an excellent terrace made it delightful. The breakfasts are very good with friendly staff and a great range of hot and cold food. We also used the car parking space which had plenty of room. We had planned to stay four nights but had to leave after three and there was no problem with cancelling the last night and no charge. Thank you for showing how customer services really can work. This was a brilliant stay and we will be back...excellent
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel. The rooftop pool is Hot which in October is a huge benefit. The rooms are large , well fitted out with bath and shower and the decor throughout is clean and modern with a laid back Bo Ho feel to the public areas and restaurant. Breakfast was very well presented in these Covid times and selection was huge. The location is excellent with a short walk to beach or old town. Staff were friendly and very helpful with a special thank you to Fatima who organised so much for us.
We returned after a super stay 14 months ago The location by harbour remains great. The rooftop pool has wow factor. And our bedroom was attractive, bright and clean But the management don’t seem to have managed covid effectively. The only toiletry amenity in the bathroom was shower gel - no moisturiser or shampoo. There was no mineral water in the room. Sorry to be picky but in a 4star hotel these should be provided On arrival we were told we could have the breakfast included in our rate at either 8am or 11 am the next morning. No thanks - we’ll eat out at a time we want. In the evening the staff were all busy but disorganised and even getting a cup of tea seemed quite an ask. So our advice is to wait until they get organised and can provide the experience a 4 star hotel should be delivering. …
This is a lovely hotel with a Moorish decor. The rooms are nice and airy and the pool area on the top level of the hotel offers great views. It is located right by the port and is only a 2 minute walk to the old town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is now a la carte and offered a good selection of dishes. Unfortunately the spa, which was highly recommended to us did not have any availability for the thermal circuit that worked with our schedule. That will have to wait until next trip.
The hotel is beautifully maintained and decorated in a light and airy Moroccan style. I had a sea view room which looks out onto the marina rather than the beach. My room was extremely clean and full of all the amenities I needed. The beds are very comfortable with memory foam pillows. The only thing missing was a complimentary bottle of water, which is a small detail, but one I really like. Fantastic hammam and spa in the basement and beautiful rooftop pool where they serve drinks. The pool is extremely unusual in that it has some sort of bouncy soft floor, other than the very edge, which is a glass bottom overlooking the street, so certainly an innovative design. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed a couple of weeks after the place reopened after Covid lockdown and they were still getting the hang of the breakfast. You get a huge selection of things brought to your table as there is no buffet - personally I would prefer to be able to order a couple of items from a menu, which would save food. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the old town of Tarifa on one side and the huge beach on the other, so right in the heart of things. The windows overlooking the main road and marina are extremely soundproof, which as a light sleeper, I really appreciated.…
