We took a holiday in Nerja to get away from city and touristy Malaga. The idea was to just unwind with some sunning on the beach. Burriana beach was perfect for it! It was mid-february and not yet the tourist season, so many cafes were not yet open, but there were still options enough. The beach is small but lovely....

Sports bar on the beach. Great food and service. Can't ask for more. Had lamb wraps that were excellent. Others had beef pie and stuffed taters. All good! Sports tv on and when asked to turn it down, no issues. Also lovely heaters for a cooler feb evening.

Had a very relaxing weeks holiday at Burriana beach, there is everything you need here, although if you need sun beds you will need to book in advance plenty of nice places to eat, lovely fresh fish dishes in the beach restaurants. A must is a visit to Nerja town, it is walkable but up quite a steep hill so would recommend...

What an experience........we arrived at the beach and by reading other reviews pulled off a miracle by getting two sunbeds and a brolly at 11ish. So far so good..... Having hardly sat down we were visited by our first "masseuse". Over the course of the next hour we were visited by a further 7 of her colleagues offering the exact...

The sea here changes according to winds - one day it can be flat calm and absolutely heavenly to swim in and the next the waves are crashing wildly onto the beach providing much fun and excitement. It does get busy and if you want a sunbed you will have to book the previous day, but the atmosphere is relaxed...

Great beach but no chance of getting a sunbed. They were all reserved but often unoccupied for most of day Very cheap if you could get one though. Bbq restaurant was really worth the visit Lovely food. Great service

Good beach but you need to book a sunbed a day in advance for €3.25 a day. There are some good restaurants along the front including the famous Ayos the paella restaurant which I would consider overrated.

It was worth coming down from Balcon de Europa to have lunch here. It is s really lovely view and you are so close the the beach. The food was tasty although at first I found the witress rather rude, but she seemed to improve as she went along. I think she was trying to save the best tables for...

As with all beaches in Nerja, be prepared to either be up at cock crow to get a sunbed, or buy your own paraphernalia. We are here for a week and have had to buy a parasol and 2 lilos to lie out on as there isn't a hope in hell of us getting a bed. The guys renting beds...
