Infannta Christina would not be amused and would have a tantrum if staying here !! But I am not shamed Spanish Royalty and I enjoyed my stay ! Not in the best part of town but not far from the centre- easily walkable. White doesnt look particularly attractive externally but it is rather impressive internally. Lots of marble. Lovely atrium with beautiful coloured glass dome ! Decor wise is looking a tad dated but spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staff is restaurant did seem rather disinterested but were very good in other parts of the Hotel. A comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel with good facilities and secure parking. The hotel has a grand feel about it and the breakfast was good. The gym was a little small but served the purpose. The dining staff spent most of their time on their mobile phones, so perhaps they need a little training!

The hotel pictures represent this property as deceptively expansive - it is quite small, noisy, and dated. Also, the restaurant menu is limited and food is poor quality. The pool is tiny and you have to pay a $10.00 fee to rent towels. Also, deck chair cushions are very dirty. Finally, I made a tentative extension of my stay based on possible work needs and was expressly told I could cancel it if not needed. Well, I did not need it, but when I notified the front desk in advance, the manager insisted I had to pay. She practically yelled at me that I would have to and if I didn't I had to make sure to "get out" on my initial check out date. This was done in front of other hotel patrons - rude, loud, disgusting behavior.

4 stars maybe on the high side. Semi modern style trying, without luck, to be luxurious. Did not have breakfast - but just behind the hotel 2 very local breakfast bar are located - both very good and A LOT cheaper. Room ok, on the small side. Parking ok but expensive.

I've just stayed here 3 nights. The staff were very unfriendly, no small talk, help at breakfast, or in the bar. Even though I know they speak English. Rooms are dated, not enough plug sockets for more than one device. Air con is almost useless. Noisy rooms, especially out back by the pool (which you cant use early in the morning). Only thing going for it is it is clean. Avoid if you can in Jaén.
