Friends we'd met in England suggested we come see their town on the Costa del Sol, Los Boliches. We hadn't stayed in a hostal before and figured we could move after a few days. It was such a great place we stayed a week. It was comfortable with our own bath and terrace; compact, in the middle of restaurants, shops and a couple blocks from the Mediterranean Sea. Lovely.

Needing a place to stay for one night prior to a flight form Malaga I choose Costabella purely for it's location next to Los Boliches train station on the line to the Airport. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find it was also so modern and clean. This combined with the very friendly and helpful couple who run it made it exceed my expectations. Central location close to shops, station, seafront and reasonably priced. Could not fault.

Stayed one night to visit the fair, great rooms for one night, very modern and clean, reasonable at 50 euros in October. Very pleasant couple running the hostal, which also had a seperate lounge area for guests, only knocked one star off due to no coffee making facility.
