Went with my mum 21st - 28th July. On arriving had a 4th floor, pool view room. Were delighted as could also see beach straight over the road. Room was great. Plenty of storage, comfy beds, large screen tv with plenty of channels to watch. Free air con and safe. As in previous comments you now have to pay 10€ for fridge although advertised as free but well worth every penny. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was very powerful and great water temperature. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and if you wanted bedding changed only had to ask. The restaurant had a great variety of food for breakfast. Would never go hungry. Eggs cooked on request (poached). Churittos and pancakes also every morning. Dinner had a different meat carved every night, along with two flavous of soup and a plentiful salad bar. Our only gripe and a small one at that was desserts were samey every night. Nothing special. Also on our last morning and with loads of Tui customers we had early pick ups going home they do not open the restaurant early so people could have breakfast or even a cuppa. We walked in at 7sh to be told we had to leave even though everything was already prepared on the hot plates. If first meal was dinner, last should be breakfast. Needs sorting out between Hotel and Tui. On arriving we found out Happy Hour 12-1pm at pool bar so thought fab will get two cocktails only to be told cocktails, water and coffee not included? Unless getting 2 for 1 drink in my opinion was quite expensive. The size of blocks of ice they put in would sink the Titanic. More ice means less spirits or juice. Happy Hour at night was 8-10pm which was good as after meal could go chill, have a drink and listen to entertainment. They then decided to change timing without any notification, even on their app from 7-9pm. Not much good as finished by time you have had dinner. Now one Morgans with lemonade was costing €8.70. Refuse to pay those prices. Do not let these minors put you off. We found it a fab and friendly hotel with the best infinity pool ever.. We also found the staff all to be very pleasant and helpful too. Will defo return and have recommended to others. Thank You Hotel Angela

We stayed at the Hotel Angela for the first time in July of this Year 2022.On our fist impression , we thought the room was ok but the bathroom although the shower was good it is a walk in shower the washbasin and toilet need updating .We were on the 4th floor poolside which you pay a supplement but it is worth it.Every thing about the Hotel Angela staff ,food and cleanliness was excellent and look forward to a return visit .

We have not long returned from staying at this hotel for two weeks. I was sceptical about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but I have to say, it was better than expected. The room we had was big enough for me and my husband. It was upto date decoration wise, big screen tv on the wall with good channels to watch when needed. The room was cleaned and changed every day. There was a good selection of foods every day and different every day. The location was spot on as the hotel was across the road from the beach, plus good transport links to get around. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Wasn't expecting a high quality hotel. Generally a fairly old building that has had some renovations. All rooms have free safe, air con, satellite tv and free wi-fi. All staff were super friendly. Breakfast was excellent, evening meal was satisfactory - pretty much what we expected but certainly plenty of options. Only downside I would say is that the sunbed area doesn't get any sun until about mid-day.

I've visited Fuengirola multiple times over the last 15 years but this was my first time to stay in Angela Hotel. We were room only and didn't eat in the hotel at all so can't comment on the food. The room was really nice, very clean and decent storage for clothes. We were on the 8th floor with a really nice view of the pool and beach. WiFi was good in the room. One thing I found a bit odd was that you had to pay extra for the use of the fridge. The temperatures were 30+ every day so cold water was essential, it was only 10 euro but still its advertised as included. The air conditioning worked great for us. The pool was the highlight for me. Its an infinity pool that's cleaned every morning and looks out onto the beach. There was entertainment and happy hour in the hotel every night, we mostly went out though as I know the area well. The location is right on the seafront about 15-20 mins walk away from the main part of town. I would stay here again it was a very pleasant experience overall.

We went to this lovely beach to spend a week as summer holiday. The beach beautiful and faultless.Only mistake was that we chosen Angela to be our hotel for this week. The hotel itself have got all facility to be 4*.But there is a huge BUT.... First day we rented the fridge which was ok..on that day we asked the reception staff to check our Wifi as its not working in our room they said it will be fixed..of course that never happened, despite we asked again. We did not spend to much time in the room but when we were there we missed the wifi. Food..that was very bad on the 5th days we rather went to eat outside despite the fact we were on full board. Uncooked potato and rice, chicken curry which never seen curry, almost all food was tasteless, everyday the same 2 or 3 choice of dessert. There are many foods have no description what food it is.Staff was very unfriendly ,,your room number?"that was all what they said..and they were upset if we asked something.I asked some water what a lady banged to my table that that is splashed into my eye..wooww..Not worth to book any kind of board.Water or any drink you buy to your food are very expensive.Room cleaners were doing great job and they were polite. Aircon made smaller lake on the balcony when it was on.The room and bathroom is shabby.Overall the hotel need refurbishment and staff need to get appropriate training.

Arrived back Wednesday after a 10 night stay (24th July 3rd Aug) went with my parents who have stayed before. We absolutely loved it, we were in room 704 which had views of the beach. Lovely clean room and hotel, the staff were really friendly and the restaurant staff (I hope I get his name right) Fila? Had an amazing sense of humour. The only thing I would agree with from a previous comment, you pay for your drinks with evening meal at the end of holiday and are not given a receipt each evening, this resulted on my dad being charged for 3 drinks he never had, the reception did rectify this, but I would recommend paying each night straight after your meal. The pool is lovely with views over the beach. We will definitely be back but hope for a pool view next time so we have a different outlook. We met some lovely people from Wigan, Wales and Doncaster, very friendly 😀

The staff at this hotel are exceptional!! The location of hotel Angela is brilliant just across the street from beach and short walk into fuengirola centre. Hotel Angela is a little dated but this hotel is so clean and the staff work hard to keep it clean. We did use the indoor pool which was a lovely but needed re tilling, outdoor pool looked lovely but we perfer the beach so we never used it. The room was adequate and clean we was on 3rd floor all rooms had a sea views the rooms could do with updating ie, decor, the TV small screen, the lighting and fridge and few little things but all not major. Rooms and clean towels everyday. We stayed HB and the restaurant staff are brilliant they are so efficient and attentive and I really appreciated their hard work. The food was usual buffet food always found something to eat. I would suggest to pay for drinks bill at reception at end of each sitting otherwise could get confusing. I would stay here again due to the location but mainly due to all the staff even the cleaners and reception staff all brilliant. Thank you all
