My partner and myself had a great 3 night break. I chose a room not facing the ocean, because of other reviews about the noise levels from the bars and nightclubs. This was a wise decision. We occasionally heard the thumping of the bass, but it was okay. Also got lovely sun on the balcony, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is a little outdated but we were spending our days on the beach front anyway. The breakfast and dinner buffets were decent. We didn't go for the lunch option. Free wine with the dinners. A good range of options. Limited for vegans or vegetarians. We will go back
This was a 4day break with our friends on arrival reception area looked lovely and clean I thought we’re in for a lovely break unfortunately the stuff on the reception was miserable not very helpful going up to our room it was like walking through the corridors of the shining or Beirut the room was clean and tidy unfortunately no coffee facilities/kettle in the room straight opposite a car parking area not ideal but only there for four nights the bedroom was spotlessly clean and great size.we had breakfast and evening meal included in the price we headed to the restaurant for our evening meal we walked in and walk straight back out we’re not fussy eaters but the food look disgusting we went down for breakfast the next morning and the same again I complain to the management which we are still waiting for them to get back to me .He didn’t seem to want to know about complaint not fussy eaters but I couldn’t eat anything, in the bar we had larger which was definitely watered down and overpriced. we found a little breakfast place as you come out turn left and across the road you can’t miss it stunning breakfast would not return to this hotel and definitely wouldn’t recommend it unfortunately the management need to get their finger out and look into everybody’s complaints and respond to them ,pool tables are not good for playing on and are expensive,…
Just back from this hotel. Hotel is nice enough, Most of the staff are lovely, Especially Antonio at reception, Jaun in Bar and most of the room service staff. Location is good The hot food breakfast was terrible, Salad was ok. Beds are soo hard and if your looking out at the harbour, the Noise at night OMG. nightclubs/ bars go on all night.
Hotel great staff good breakfast good hotel all-round only fault that spoilt are 14night stay! Every night The night clubs facing at least 3 off them close at 6am! So everyone goes to the 2 kebabs shops also facing and start fighting smashing bottles shouting at least until 7am! Then the street cleaning team turn up to wash the pavements of the debris left, some times up till 9am! I know some of you reading will be thinking brilliant! But for us we prefer to sleep! And sadly this is not the hotels fault as we enjoyed every thing else! I believe this is only a problem on the front of the hotel talking to other guests! But on the plus side,if the owners fitted outer double glazing it would improve the situation! We know this costs money but we would gladly pay a bit extra because it's not the hotels fault! But in peak season I imagine it would be even worse!…
On arrival the main reception area looks good with polite pleasant staff. Looking further than this is poor.hotel needs updating, threadbare carpets in corridors and walls in need of serious painting. Room and bathroom clean ,small fridge but disapointingly no kettle. Clean towels and maid service when needed.no patio light. Asked for extra pillows but never got Noisy neighbours from pubs and clubs till around 3 in morning . Breakfast was good as was evening dinner.no tea or coffee at dinner had to buy from bar.think dinning area needs to be bigger and rearranged to accommodate volume of people. Bar area was ok with bar staff being polite and attentive. Entertainment was poor and mainly geared towards other nationalities and languages with very little understanding of English Overall okay but don't think we will return…
Went over for xmas 24th - 28th and found this as at crazy price less than £35 per night with breakfast and dinner included so when reviewing that has to be taken into consideration I can't be expecting the ritz at that price. Location is fantastic close enough to all you need yes there will be some noise from nearby bars of course but didn't trouble me on my side the few pints in the evening may have helped that!! Food was fine plenty of it and good selection agree with earlier reviewer it was busy and loud in there but to be expected again if its an intimate meal for 2 you're after this is not it. Wifi in the room which was massive was perfect and free of charge cleaners all very friendly towels on tap if you needed them. All of the staff actuallly where hard working. If you're after a boutique hotel this is not for you if you want something on a lower budget that is clean and comfortable to get your head down, have a bite to eat and be very central then this is the place for you in my opinion.…
Went over the Christmas weekend and found the hotel great. I went with my wife and 15 year old. I was a bit sceptical after reading all the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Positives- Great location: right next to the port and beach only 5 minutes walk. Busy road with lots of restaurants and clubs which could be noisy at night Rooms: good sized, acomfy beds. View from balcony was great. I had requested a room on higher floor and got it on 8th floor which was great. WiFi-it was free and had an okay connection in room. Food- was great with good choice of meats and at least 2 veg dishes. Food was varied during my 4 night stay. Great salad selection, and a good variety of fruits n deserts. Wine was free with dinner on the tap. Water was free as well. Food times were very busy on some days n some dishes sometimes ran out. Entertainment- not much but there was singing n dancing every night which I didn't go to. But used the games room to play Polo(2 tables} I for 2 Euro a game and darts. Swimming pool was closed. Parking- Available at 15 euro a day but I parked on the street about 10 minutes walk. Cleaniness- Rooms and halls very clean thanks to excellent domestics. Not so great- As mentioned dinner times were quite busy on some days with dishes running out on occasions. Same at breakfast. The noise at night from the parties on the clubs nearby could be disturbing if your room is facing that side. No Sunlight at all on the balcony or the room. Not even for 1 minute. Never saw sun from my room. My room was facing the beach site. But overall a very enjoyable stay and foot at a great price. Well recommended 👌👌…
Very close to the beach, 5 min walk. The rooms are oldish, but the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are eat as much as you want. Breakfast is 7-9:30, lunch 1-3, dinner 7-9:30. A couple of nights at the weekend we could hear some loud music outside, but then it's was not bad
2nd time staying here, great location. Kids loved connor the entertainment. Staff were extremely helpful when our flights home were cancelled. Half board, Food is ok for the price, different varieties each night for dinner -nobody would starve.
The hotel is so big you get lost. The bedrooms were grand and clean . Changed towels everyday. The view from the rooftop bar and pool is beautifully looking over the harbour. Plenty to do from playing pool etc
