I have stayed at this hotel for the past two Summers amd will probably go again this year. Positives: It is very easy to get here with the train from the airport. The train station is no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is very close to the beach and there is a mini-market across the road from the hotel. The rooms were cleaned well every day and I found the reception helpful with any queries or requests for assistance. Negatives: There is definitely a problem with sound proofing between the rooms and you are at the mercy of who you have in the room beside you. If there is arguing or crying children, you're going to hear it all unfortunately. We had a nice view the first year but last year our room looked straight out on to a block of apartments across from us which was disappointing. I'll know next time to request a better view. The indoor pool is not heated from May to October which is disappointing as young children can find the outdoor pool too cold at times. Overall the hotel is good value and has everything we want (easy to get to, near the beach, pools, WiFi, clean, balcony) so we'll be back again this Summer.…
Myself and my partner booked Monarque Fuengirola Park for a week in August 2020.We had half board. Overall, the hotel is dated, very basic, and the food is terrible. Cold eggs for breakfast, and luke warm sausages, is just not something you would enjoy. Food was never hot and was very poor in options. I wouldn't go back here and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to no one. It is located close to the beach, this is the only good point about it, but rather than that, nothing else is exciting. The services provided and what you pay for it, is not a 4 stars , I will give it 3 stars.
This was my third visit to this hotel although it was my first summer visit and also my first time staying on the all inclusive option. The hotel is located in Torreblanca, just across the road from the promenade and beach and very near to the train station. It’s about a forty minute walk into Fuengirola town centre. I’ve said before and I’ll say again that the hotel needs renovation. However the hotel is kept immaculately clean. Service from all departments is faultless. The food is good and varied. The rooms are of a decent size and come with free a mini fridge and good free wifi. Value for money is excellent. The hotel has a very effective Covid protocol. There are hand sanitisers everywhere and for example only every other table in the restaurant can be occupied. I really enjoyed the all inclusive option but I never ate any snacks due to eating a very tasty full breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think snacks are available mid morning and also in the afternoon. The drinks were all local brands and tasted fine. The beer on tap is San Miguel. There was entertainment on most nights, it was of the usual standard for Costa del Sol summer holidays. There was also pool entertainment most days. The majority of guests during my visit were Spanish, mainly families, who were obviously enjoying their holidays after enduring a lengthy and strict lockdown. It was good to see people having a good time. All in all I had a great time and will visit again. The management and staff fully are highly commended for providing great service during these difficult times.…
Returned to this hotel because our family had such a wonderful holiday last year, however, in light of the recent dreadful coronavirus we are all experiencing at the present time, I am unhappy about the chef's and waiters, (who are all doing a wonderful job) and their hand hygiene. The chef's who constantly replenish the hot food are not wearing gloves, they are touching food tongs, metal trays and hard surfaces. The waiters are replenishing cutlery, plates etc. I have only seen one chef wearing blue gloves, quite worrying.
We are staying here at the moment. Hotel is spotless clean room cleaned every day. There is lots of very good facilities such as , TV room, Card room , 2 bars , indoor pool and outdoor pool. The restaurant has lovely breakfast , lunch and dinner with plenty of choice and restaurant staff very friendly and hard working. Hotel is very popular with older people but we are enjoying our stay here a lot . I can not fault this hotel at all . I would visit again
