Another holiday in this hotel and fantastic again. Everything was perfect. Great food , location and beautiful sea view from freshly refurbished rooms. Definitely see you again. Thank you for all staff .
We have been to this hotel 6 years in a row the staff are like family the are professional treat you good cant do enough for you it is because of the staff we keep going back 😀. The hotel is set central to every thing it has beautiful pools and gardens and it is quiet we love it yhat much that we will be back this year again.😀😀
We have just returned home after a weeks stay at this hotel. A great find! The beach is a 4 minute walk down a slight incline so location is fantastic. The train line to Fuengirola, Malaga Airport and Malaga is literally behind the hotel, couldn't be closer or easier. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained with several grassy areas with sunbeds, 2 pools and a sdmall kids pool, a kids play park and a lovely seating area with sea views outside the bar. There is also a table tennis table outside and the bars and ball are free to use by asking reception (the first time we have found this, usually a deposit is requested). The rooms are a great size as are the balconies and are cleaned daily. All communal areas were spotless and a cleaner always seemed to be around somewhere. The reception staff couldn't be more helpful and it was the fastest check in we have experienced. The bar staff were lovely (particularly Antonio and Francisco). The food was good, varied every night, the chef did a great job considering they are closing today until April so sure stock is low. I have food I tolerances but didn't have a problem finding anything to eat and when I asked for gluten free bread they were more than accommodating, even bringing out gluten free biscuits! The only thing is sometimes the food wasn't as hot as it could be. We had an early flight and when we asked for some rolls or something to be left for breakfast they said no, we erill open the restaurant for u! They opened it at 3.30am for us to have coffee, juice, hams, cheese, bread, fruit, biscuits.... Amazing! We have stayed in several hotels where they don't do anything close to this service. My son voted their biscuits 4.5! The only thing I will say is that we were on the first floor (room 114) and you could hear the evening entertainment until fairly late so if you have young children I would ask for a higher floor to avoid this. It didn't affect our holiday, we were exhausted and the beds are really comfortable. The shower is possibly the hottest I've experienced and really good water pressure. All in all a fantastic stay. The only reason it wasn't 5 star is due to the fact that it can be noisy if you are not watching the evening entertainment and there is traffic noise from the road opposite but again I think that's due to the fact we were on the first floor (and inconsiderate guests shouting and banging doors but that's not the hotel's fault). We will be returning in the future! …
Great staff, great rooms, only down points food not always as hot as it should be. The choice of food was splendid. The hotel location is handy for the train station and the less busy part of resort. Splendid holiday.
We have not long returned from an other 7 night stay, our second of the year 6th overall. Same great staff throughout the hotel. Bar staff especially simply the best,I went to the pool bar 20 minutes after arriving, what a warm welcome. I am called 2 beers they appeared like magic before me. Absolutely great service they remember me every time. Restaurant staff very welcoming met at the entrance by the friendly restaurant manager. Food definitely better than our visit in May, I made comments about food being bland far better this time. A really good selection of main meals and hot. The deserts were better this time. The bread and butter pudding was to die for,not every body's taste but delicious. Good selection of in season fruit as well. The pool guard was different , he was so much more attentive I saw him do two minor pool rescues well done him. Gardens still some of the best I have seen at a hotel. Plenty of sunbeds about. Rooms getting dated but ok. The cleaning could be improved ,bundles of dust in corners but there is nothing really to complain about. Bathrooms again dated but clean ,always clean towels. Yet another great good value holiday. Might see you next year, but that hill gets steeper each year we get older.. Bye good friend Monargue Torreblanca…
