The staff at Hostal Jomarijo are excellent, so helpful. The cleanliness of the establishment is very good too. Set in the heart of Fuengirola with easy access to the train station and the bus station. Plenty of restaurants around, beautiful gardens and pool

Good location Given keys to the main entrance and then ring a doorbell to get inside the hostel. Staff do not speak much English but enough to get by and are very polite. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The walls are a bit thin so you can sometimes here people pottering around. A member of staff did however knock on our door before 11pm one night and told us 'it's not a disco' as we were apparently being a bit too loud

My Wife and I have just stayed for 11 nights and it was lovely. The room we had overlooked the swimming pool and had a large balcony,it was a twin bedded room. The whole place is immaculate and cannot fault it. We had to share a bathroom, but this wasn't a problem either. We managed to watch some tv in the room by changing the settings to English.Their was a ceiling fan in our room, room 9 but other rooms have air-con. Their is a communal fridge too which came in handy for drinks and salad etc. They like you to be quiet here and no children are allowed,i would think you would be told even if your tv was too loud..Ideal location for shops, bars and the beach. The entrance to the hostal is literally gained by pressing the door entry system which belongs to the whole group of apartments which in effect it is just 3 apartments turned into 14 bedrooms in the middle of an apartment complex. Would definitely come again. Be warned though,we went in off the street and the lady tried to charge €65 per night x 11 nights,we went onto booking.com and got the same deal for €570.

The worse place you can stay and worse I have ever stayed anywhere and I have stayed in some places... Me and my friend had a double twin room (no2) stayed here 3 nights and it was hell 1st night got there around 11pm and just slept 2nd night was drunk 3rd night realised what where I was staying if I could I would have flew back home but no flights and could not get another hotel Its very dated and also I realised on the last night there was no smoke alarms in rooms or in hallways. Yes you got sheets on bed and no drinks in room also on the 3rd night when I got back to room they had taken the throws off the beds. You had to ring a door bell to get in and also ask to let you out as they keep the door locked... Each time they let you in or out if looks could kill I would have been died not friendly at all... Sometimes had to knock hard and ring the bell several times and couple time it was 5 to 10 mins wait to get in. They have a pool but can only be used in a summer time. They have rules and they are a joke as follows } Payments are daily or in advance. } It is forbidden to eat and laundry rooms. } The cleaning of the rooms will be until 13:00h } The entrance to the rooms will be from 13:00h and the output from 11:00h } No person may receive visitors in the rooms. } Responsible use of the television, air conditioning and its corresponding controls. any damaged will be charged to the customer. } Credit cards accepted. } To access the card pool ask reception upon payment of a deposit of 10e. } We have wifi, ask for the key at reception. } Smoking in rooms and in public areas is prohibited. the staff never smiled or make us feel welcome.. My friend got there slightly before me then they charged to charge us again and also told me I can't stay in the room even tho we booked a twin room had to show them the email print out. the walls are very thin and the wi-fi cuts out quite bad, it just looks like two flats knocked into one.. poorly decorated wish I had done more research into this place and read its reviews as Its a place i couldn't get away quicker enough from and nothing like the pics ALSO YOU FIND NO PLUGS IN THE BATHROOM EITHER FOR THE SINK OR BATH THERE IS NO SMOKE ALARMS OR ANYTHING SO IF THEY WAS A FIRE YOU COULD NOT HEAR IT OR SEE IT YOU COULD PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK IS YOU STAY HERE
