Well situated hostel, small room and bathroom but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming, request made in advance met in full. Good effective aire con much appreciated on a hot weekend. Great value for money in central location, would return for a short stay. Can recommend to those looking for good clean basic accomadation at a cheap price.

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was very small with a small balcony. The bathroom was also very small. No coffee/tea making facilities. No seating areas in reception. Had a nice stay but won't return as we've stayed at nearby hotels with bigger rooms at the same price

We chose this hostal as it is a low level one close to the beach and also the centre of town. We found it very clean, the staff very friendly and also the room is cleaned every afternoon. We'll keep it in mind for another time.

This hostel was recommended by a friend. On arrival the manager was friendly and very helpful. My room was not ready but I was allowed to store my luggage behind the reception. The room was a good size for one person, it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It did face onto the street, so I did notice a fair amount of noise, just people coming out of restaurants and bars but that could be around 2-3am! Not every night was noisy. The location is only 10mins walk from the train station, you are only a few mins walk from the main town square and all the local shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is less than 10 mins walk. The only thing I missed was a small fridge but for the price, it was very good value and I would return again.

I stayed for one Saturday night and found the Hostal Cueavas to be basic but clean with friendly reception staff. My room was small with a comfortable bed and small bathroom and was on the first floor overlooking the narrow street. There was no Kettle in room and no lounge or catering on site. There was free wifi in the room. Initially I felt it was good value just for an overnight stay in my travels however I had a very disturbed night due to continuous waves of people partying throughout the night on the street outside. I do not know whether the rooms to the back of the Hostal would be quieter or whether the weekends are particularly noisy.

A small but very clean twin room with fully equipped if small bathroom. The reception staff were friendly welcoming, spoke English and offered underground parking at the hotel for an extra €10. The location was very good, about 200 meters from the seafront. The owner recommended a restaurant a few meters away with excellent home cooking. I would return again for a night or 2 stay. No lift, but the staff helped carry our case up to the room.

Good location close to everything, but otherwise just another non-descript Spanish hostal. The rooms were OK, average size for Spain. There are no services provided - no breakfast and no parking, It's a very convenient place to stay a night or a few nights if you are content with something very basic, clean at a very good price. Need to keep in mind parking is extra - up to $ 20 per night.

Nice family run Hostal, rooms spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds. There is no lounge in the Hostal, and no food is served. However this was not found to be a problem. If on a budget, this is an ideal spot.

Positive: Nice and friendly atmosphere, clean, great rooms and fresh new bahrooms, quiet (best is it to get a room to the backyard, tho) especially the night-watcher is a very nice and funny man..And the lady that ownes it, is also very sweet:) Negative: not very much really.. It would be great if they had some English channels on the tv But not really a big problem.. Its very reasonable priced and worth a stay..
