The location is not exactly suited to one arriving by bicycle, as we did. However, the stunning views more than made up for this. The hotel is in a dramatic location in the historic town of Carmona. The building itself has great character and combines Andalusian style and restrained luxury, while the staff are solicitous without being intrusive. The view...

The location perched above Carmona is breathtaking with stunning views across the surrounding plains. The pool area is a fair walk down the hill but the cool water is a welcome respite from the summer heat with plenty of covered areas with sun beds surrounding the pool so direct sun can be avoided unless wanted. The staff were welcoming and...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a 6 week tour of Portugal and Spain. To be honest we saw it as a base for Sevilla, but Carmona was much more! It is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. The welcome to the hotel was as other Paradors we have stayed in,...

We first discovered this parador in 1989, had coffee and wondered if we would ever be able to afford to stay. We returned in 1995 and now again in 2013. We have stayed in several paradors since and none matches the parador at Carmona. Service at other paradores can be cold and the food poor. Here both are excellent. The...

Thanks to Booking we made a smart deal to stay in this parador. We really can't say one bad word about it: friendly reception, nice room, stunning view, big and sunny pool... We only can advise this play to stay. We took breakfast in town, so we can't say anything about the Parador-breakfastbuffet

Travelers used to paradors created from historic buildings will not be surprised by what the one in Carmona in south-west Spain has to offer. A meandering uphill drive through increasingly-narrow streets leads to a spectacular entrance through a double arch into a large outer courtyard surrounded by honey-coloured stone walls. Across the cobbled courtyard a resplendent coat of arms above...

Lovely location looking towards Cordoba - we had a great room with a balcony so the views were really special. It's the location and history that sells this place. We felt that the atmosphere was a bit hectic and it seem to attract large parties of guests. We eat in the restaurant the food was good but being a very...

Carmona is not as large and varying in tourist sites as Toledo, Seville, Granada or other nearby cities, however this small, quaint town is well worth visiting just for the experience of staying at this Parador. We stayed there for one night on the recommendation of friends, between visiting Granada and Seville. Although it was a quick visit, we experienced...

Fabulous location with an elevated view over vast countryside. Elegant and tranquil with a lovely pool area, we had two great nights here as a family. Our two children aged 10 and 8 had to share a single sofa bed but this didn't seem to be an issue for them. Carmona is steeped in history and has a Roman necropolis...

This parador lives up to its 4-star rating. The grounds, building, rooms, and restaurant are all wonderful. Very elegant and clean. The pool is huge and the perfect temperature.Plenty of covered and free parking. Carmona is a beautiful little town about 30 minutes out of Seville, so a nice, quiet, peaceful place to stay while you tour Seville. Our only...
