The Antequera Hotel pulled out all the stops to make sure our New Year celebrations were a success. The event was held in the Disco area of the hotel and the large round tables were all nicely decorated. In each place was a bag containing hat, mask, balloon, steamers etc. The menu was excellent starting with a plate of prawns...

The rooms were rather basic. Couple had the wardrobe collapsed on them ! The situation of the hotel was rather disappointing as it was the only place one could find any food of any consequence. The bar was good - try the Gin & Tonics with the special tonics - marvellous! New Market holidays - very badly organised. The guides...

Room adequate, room safe loose, no minibar, despite being offered in facilities, key card room power control switch loose. Nothong done by management despite requests. Balcony floor very dirty and full of weeds. Smell of sewerage on and off around the hotel. Restaurant food offered poor choices, and not warm, drinks station very slow.

We have just returned from spending Christmas at this Hotel .We were really pleased with our room,it was very large with a lovely bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. All the staff were extremely helpfull and polite, even after one member of staff was shouted at by a very rude travel group representative!! The food was excellent and there was plenty...

This is a comfortable hotel in a quiet location15 minutes walk from the town centre. But we did find some negatives during our week's stay with a Travel Department tour group. The buffet menu was less than inspiring and the food was seldom as hot as we would have liked. The dining room staff showed little interest in communicating with...

The buffet breakfast not as good as should be expected in a 4/5 star hotel; just one coffee machine with a queue all the time and over-sweet fruit juice (machine again) - catering for tour parties, not individuals. Very surprised to check into a room at 5pm and find the bedding from third bed rolled up on the side table,...

We stayed here seven nights as a centre for our tour of Andalucia .A pleasant hotel but as we were out of season the spa and massage were closed much of the time. Rooms were small but adequate.Staff friendly but there were too few in the Buffet with items regularly running out. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.

The majority of guests appeared to be part of a group - golfers or tours as we were.. It is centrally located for those groups. A 10/15 minute walk to the local bullring and town. Nice looking pool and convenient bar and a good snack menu. The decor is tired and only one small lift. You can have a fair...

We were booked into the Hotel as part of a group tour of Andalusia. First impressions were very good, being situated on the very edge of the Old Town, yet a 15 minute stroll to the Main Street. Our ground floor room had a patio leading straight onto the pool area, and the majority of the rooms overlook the central...
