This Hotel is well located it is close to Corte ingles shopping center, and it is close to the ferry terminal where you can get the ferries for excursions to Tangier, Morocco, Ceuta and so on. The staff is friendly and always in a good mood. I tried to use the Business center but the equipment did not work. The hotel has a kitchen because it does not qualify as a restaurant, they only serve breakfast very basic, and dinner also very limited options, and basically more sandwich and hamburgers than anything, they do not serve lunch either. The rooms are not bad, they have room service until 23:00 and I heard they provide free parking. There are several restaurants near (walking distance) but are not good I can only recommend La Pampa Argentina Grill (very good). I recommend this hotel for short stays one, two or three weeks, my visit was three weeks for business purpose and I noticed that most of the people were also on business trips. In summary, business, not family, short stays and good for the price.…
Very basic hotel, rooms are ok, but nothing special, which is ok as it is also rather cheap. The breakfast is very limited and the staff was not very helpful. One nice thing is the self service coffee that is available all day. Thumbs up to that.
The service was very friendly and the location was great to visit Gibraltar and continue our road-trip throughout Andalucía. Rooms were also nice but breakfast was not excellent. Free car parking was great!
Great Decor/Rooms but lack off staff at Breakfast Bar doesn’t open until 19.30 Restaurant 20.00 no good if you have a family staying can’t get anything before these times except a vending machine spent three days going to local bars/restaurants because of lack of facilities for a Marriott Hotel this is unacceptable.
We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 3 nights in order to sightsee in the area including going to Gibraltar and taking the ferry from Tarifa across to Tangier for a day trip. The staff is excellent, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was ample and the location is really good. Their parking garage is secure in another building behind the alley although the spaces are TINY (as is normal in Europe I’ve discovered). My only complaints are that the air conditioners inside the room are locked at 21 degrees Celsius and you can’t lower the temperature lower than that, and one elevator marks incorrect floors so when you get in and push 6, it takes you to the 6th floor but the number marked in the elevator is 7. Very weird and discombobulating! I kept wondering what the 7th floor marked when you were on it! All in all this hotel is a very reasonably priced option for a stay in this area. …
