A classic older building on the edge of the harbor. Clean and comfortable. Serviceable, free WiFi. Convenient for walking to the ferry for Morocco. We used it as a home base for visiting Gibralter. Walking distance from the train station and the bus station.
Horrible. No parking spots even on street. Elevator doesn’t work right. Neighborhood is awful because it is just front to the Algeciras harbor. Bedrooms doors are broken. Do not recommend at all. Two single beds for a couple. We asked for a change and were told the hotel was booked but the rooms alongside the corridor were empty
We chose this hotel due to its location to the ferry station at the port. And we found a parking place nearby for our rented car which the hotel provided a flat rate overnight. There are plenty of restaurants around and it is close to the city center where you can shop. The room is very basic. Wifi is a little slow but acceptable.
The room was fairly large and overlooked the waterfront. The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was really nice to have. The staff was very polite, and helpful. There are some not so nice areas near the hotel, however we had no trouble, although one night we were out late. This is not a luxury hotel, and fortunately was very reasonably priced.
Located near the port and within easy walking distance of the train station this hotel works if you want inexpensive, yet clean. No frills but I slept great. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rating is because it fitted what I was looking. If I was eating a US hotel, it would only be a 2 star.
