Would highly recommend this accommodation. We (4 friends) rented one house in this beautiful little holiday street. Walking distance to the high street with supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, the place was clean, fully stocked of all the basics and the property manager Catherine went above and beyond to look after us. The locals are super friendly, felt very safe in the middle of nowhere. Would love to go back!
We have just spent a week in the Aughrim holiday village. The house was a great size with everything we needed for a self catering holiday with young children. Catherine who is the manager was lovely to deal with. I had one special request on arrival and she could not have been more accommodating. The house was spotlessly clean on our arrival. Wicklow has a lot to offer and is close proximity to Dublin if you fancy a days adventure in the city. The holiday village is nicely maintained, walking distance from the Village and very quiet. I will be recommending it as a base to journey from when visiting the East Coast.
Well..that's our third summer visit to the Aughrim Holiday Village over the past three years done. Usual warm welcome and assistance from Catherine and Steffan (both a great credit to Trident Holiday Homes who manage bookings/accomodation). Excellent and very spacious holiday home accomodation...clean and everything needed available...pubs and shops a short hip, skip and a jump away. Reasonable pricing when counted on a per head basis. Spent two weeks here (same as last year..one week on our first visit), great base for visiting Wicklow's many attractions and towns...with a good few visits to Clara Lara for little one. We had large family group over two holiday homes, from pensioners to kids and teenagers, all loved it. Big thanks (again) finally to Catherine in arranging for our two holiday homes booked to be beside each other and for the 'welcome back' box of chocs. As long as our young one keeps picking here as their summer holiday destination we will be there again and again.…
Very well equipped house, cosy, lots of room , 3 bedrooms en-suite. Aughrim very central to visit Avoca, Glendalough & Dublin, Catherine was very helpful when we got there & was available at all times if needed. Boys age 11 & 13 want to go back again!
We had a wonderful week long stay in number 7. We had an early flight and the managers Catherine and Stefan allowed an early check in. Catherine was there to meet us on arrival and show us around and explain how the heating worked which was much appreciated. A welcome pack with tea, coffee, dishwasher and washing machine tablets was a nice touch. It was the start of the season and there were a few branches in the tennis court where my children wanted to play. Stefan cleated it all straight away-we were really impressed with their responsiveness. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the village and we tried the pubs, fish and chip shop and Chinese take away and enjoyed all. It’s a great base to explore the south east and easy to get back up to Dublin. Catherine gave us a tip to drive to Bray and get the DART into Dublin. This was a lovely train ride and only cost €20 for a family of four. Overall we were really impressed and will be back. …
