Travellers' Choice
The Annebrook House Hotel is Mullingar's newest 4* hotel. Centrally located in the centre of Mullingar over looking acres of Town Park. The Annebrook offers an excellent service to both its corporate & leisure guests. The hotel is built around an original Georgian house tastefully entwining the old with the new. The hotel boasts 26 executive rooms, 2 champagne suites, and 36 luxury 2 bedroom apartments which also have two en suites and a living area, the apartments are connected to the hotel via a glass walkway. All the accommodation is to a high standard. The Brosna River flows through the grounds of the Annebrook Houses. The river its self is probably one of the prime reasons why Mullingar exists at all as it would have been a significant factor why the Normans chose to build here in the medieval times. Dining at The Annebrook is a unique experience. The Old House Restaurant is located in the cellar of the Old house, with its original limestone walls and its original fire places it has a warm cosy Berty's bar offers a option of Carvery served at lunchtime or a bar food menu served in the evening.

On Sunday night last a few of us went to the Annebrooke Hotel in Mullingar Co Westmeath for something to eat. We were brought to our table by a lovely lady called Fiona ...who went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant meal .She took time to talk to us and came back occasionally to see if we were OK or needed anything .She was quite busy but still made time for every customer. We just could not praise her high enough . The food was exceptional and the service by this lady was next to none . Thank you Fiona and the Annebrooke Hotel for a lovely enjoyable evening . The staff here are lovely but she really made us want to go back .

We stayed here on a Sunday in January. Staff in reception seem very disinterested and not very friendly. We had a lovely Sunday lunch on checking in. Room was compact but clean. Shower water lukewarm in the evening but nice and hot the next morning. Decor of hotel quite dated. Breakfast not very good. Don't think I would return.

Absolutely amazing stay. The room was immaculate. Before arriving, I sent an email explaining the reason for our stay and asked about the possibility of getting a late check out. This was provided, no questions asked. When we checked into our beautiful room, the staff had left us a bottle of prosecco, strawberries and chocolates. It was such a lovely surprise. We couldn't thank the staff enough. They really made our weekend special!

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.. From start to finish. From check in with Dave who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful to the lovely spacious room and gourmet meal in the Bar. Actually met the chef on his way out and was able to compliment him personally for the fabulous meal. We did have an issue with the service and when Ed the Duty Manager asked how everything was I informed him of the issues. I prefer to say it on the spot rather than complain afterwards when there maybe little recourse.. Ed accepted our comments and was extremely helpful and we were very satisfied with the outcome. Will definitely return.

We are delighted to have discovered this hotel, and to see what a lovely, lively town Mullingar town is! I would happily recommend both to any visitor to this area. The hotel is bang in the middle of the town, has lovely rooms and bars and the service is really warm.
