The Annebrook House Hotel is Mullingar's newest 4* hotel. Centrally located in the centre of Mullingar over looking acres of Town Park. The Annebrook offers an excellent service to both its corporate & leisure guests. The hotel is built around an original Georgian house tastefully entwining the old with the new. The hotel boasts 26 executive rooms, 2 champagne suites, and 36 luxury 2 bedroom apartments which also have two en suites and a living area, the apartments are connected to the hotel via a glass walkway. All the accommodation is to a high standard. The Brosna River flows through the grounds of the Annebrook Houses. The river its self is probably one of the prime reasons why Mullingar exists at all as it would have been a significant factor why the Normans chose to build here in the medieval times. Dining at The Annebrook is a unique experience. The Old House Restaurant is located in the cellar of the Old house, with its original limestone walls and its original fire places it has a warm cosy Berty's bar offers a option of Carvery served at lunchtime or a bar food menu served in the evening.

2 bed apartment was ideal for 2 adults and 3 children. Clean and well equipped. Basic but really does the job. Playground and community swimming pool next door meant children were easily entertained.
Breakfast was basic but fine, food left sitting too long in bain marie’s
Bar food was fine, good choices for children and service was fast. Menus Limited for adults.

Avoid desserts as waited 40 minutes the two times we decided to indulge which nearly ruined the night

Bedroom was a bit noisy with sounds of other guests at times.

Great location for local activities - cycle on Green Way, horse riding in Ladestown Stables and visits to the lakes.

Supermarket across the road made it easy to keep apartment stocked and kids happy.

We are just home from a 2 night break. We booked an apartment to have plenty of room. The apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen with fridge washing machine and microwave. It was very spacious and looked out over the park. There was a stream that flowed by and was so lovely to sit with the balcony doors open and listen to it.
We had breakfast included each morning. The breakfast was the best we both ever had and service was very quick.
We had dinner both evening's in Bertys bar and were served both night's by a lovely lady called Fiona. I was ment to ask her what perfume she was wearing as it was beautiful and forgot!
All staff were absolutely lovely and they couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel has sanatizer everywhere and all precautionary measures taken care of.
The hotel is right beside a beautiful park with a playpark for children. It's also a very short walk to all the shops
We were able to park our car in the free underground car park and get a lift right up to our apartment which was great for bringing in your luggage. There are lots of lovely cosy areas you can sit around the hotel to have a quiet chat.
We will definitely be booking a stay here again. And already have family that now will be booking after hearing our thoughts.

Just spent 1 night at the annebrook with my husband and son. We booked a 2 bed apartment which was really great value €100 for the night which included breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful with us all enjoying it. The food at the hotel is very tasty, good selection and reasonably priced we ate at the hotel Saturday and Sunday and we could not fault any of the food. The staff are friendly especially the girls on reception they've good aul irish hospitality 😊. The apartment is very spacious with great WiFi and a smart TV in the sitting room. The furnishings are very basic but exactly what you'd need. My only downfall would be there's no TV in the bedrooms so you can't chill in bed and watch TV so I'd probably book a room in the hotel and not an apartment if I was to revisit. Both bedrooms have an ensuite with a toilet and shower there is no bathroom. Location is great your literally center in the town so good for a ramble around the shops. There's no swimming pool on site but I did hear there's a community pool near the hotel. If I was to recommend anything to the hotel it would be more toiletries for guests and bar food all day rather than carvery early then bar menu from 5 as due to the current restrictions of a €9 meal to get a beer it would be good to be able to purchase something light like chicken wings or finger food rather than a heavy meal.

Just back from an excellent 2 night stay in the apartments. Was very impressed with the space and cleanliness. The only small issue I would have is that the apartment could have been better equipped, there were only 4 small plates, no bowls. Also no dishwasher or washing up liquid provided which similar hotel apartments would usually have. Having said that it’s still full marks as this was a perfect location for a stay with children.
We had a nice breakfast included each day and it was a combination of a served buffet and table service. The biggest positive for me was the warm welcome we got from all the staff particularly the woman on reception ( on 26 and 27 July) and this is what will make me return in the future.

The Annebrook House Hotel is easy to find and we arrived on a sunny afternoon a little early to check in. Luckily this meant we had time to sit in the park which is beside the hotel and enjoy the weather. A wander up the street took us to a nature walk alongside the Royal Canal and on the way back we stopped to admire the cathedral. An excellent coffee in the square took us to check-in time perfectly.

Stayed just one night last week. First room I had the toilet and shaver socket didn't work. However, within minutes the lovely receptionist moved me to a nicer room which had a little balcony and was really clean with a very comfortable bed. The room had tea and coffee facilities and WiFi worked perfectly. Again, the shaver socket didn't work but I had an adaptor so it wasn't a big issue. Despite the room being lovely the balcony was covered in bird poop which kind of let the hotel down.

The dinner offering from the bar (outside) was incredibly good. I had the Greek salad to start and a lovely chicken dish. The food was delicious and really good value. The staff work really hard and are very friendly. Pints were also good and reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard. I did give a generous tip to the server and was a little disheartened with his lack of gratitude.

The breakfast was really only average and was a bit disappointing given the quality of food the night before. Sausages were very overdone and it was hard to see what else was on offer. In fairness the breakfast room was very busy so it felt a little rushed.

Because of the staff, the beautiful room and the dinner offering I would certainly recommend a stay here to anyone. The other issues raised are very fixable.

I stayed here in June for the second time, and with friends we dined in the hotel bar for the evening. I found everything from check in to check out to be faultless.
Greeted by a very welcoming Shauna on reception, the hotel seems to have adapted to the current Covid regulations so everything seemed to run so smoothly.
In the bar, a pretty decent choice of food on the menu, and when I mentioned a particular food intolerance, the lady serving, Fiona, I think, went out of her way to make sure I could have a meal to my liking.
The food was delicious, great portions, fresh and tasty, and good value too.
I don’t hesitate to recommend this hotel 100%, the rooms are a good size and modern decor.
I found by booking directly, the price was best, and included a great breakfast selection, including bacon eggs sausages, pudding etc as well as cereals and bread with some pastries too.
This is the sort of welcome I truly hope foreign visitors to Ireland get to sample while they’re here, when things do return.
Annebrook Hotel staff are a credit to Mullingar and great ambassadors for the Irish Hotel industry.
I look forward to to returning later this year.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Arrived, staff lovely, found room. Nice and spacious. Now i know hotels have been closed etc but no excuse. Im covid cautious so i got my wipes out and wiped all the handles, light switches, sofas and counters down, changing wiped good few times. The wipes were very dirty. This was my 1st alarm but i said nothing to the kids etc. There was Spiders everywhere. My husband took down 5 in kids bedroom. But when i went into other bedroom, there was cobwebs on the walls with a daddy long legs in 1 of them, the kitchen / sittingroom windows were all cobwebs around the windows. I had enough. We should have checked out really but i had promised the kids so where else would we go ( it was 6.30pm) so down to receiption i went. Girl said everything but sorry. Very nice , very polite and assured me all the rooms r cleaned every day ( not this one) . She immediately gave us new appartment which was grand. But u know what the good was taken out of it. I was very cautious after this.
I would say hotel is lovely but cleaning staff are not doing their job in the rooms.
Group of girls next door were very noisy till all hours but thats not the hotels fault. Hate giving bad reviews but we all work hars and pay big money to stay and its supposed to be a treat. It should be spotless.
Few other things, barstaff not fully trained ( very friendly) guy started clearing table before guests left table, gave husband a pint holding his hand over the head of it instead of round glass,i appreciate it prob all new staff, the manager in bar going round with mask under his nose ( this bugged me big time)

Excellent place for a stay in Mullingar (a picturesque, friendly Irish midlands town).
We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist with the good news that we were being given a free upgrade to a suite, just a random selection. This was very welcome. The room was spacious, charming, well equipped, comfortable and clean. It had a very relaxing jacuzzi bath.
Breakfast had good choices, hot and cold; staff were efficient and pleasant.
We were permitted to bring our bicycles inside the hotel and my e-bike was given an overnight charge in a secure place.
The hotel is very centrally located near shops, bars, restaurants.
It has an old fashioned and quaint charm, with a friendly atmosphere.
Would def. recommend and stay again if in Mullingar.

I was launching a book in Eason in Mullingar and my family booked six rooms in the Annebrook Hotel. We were delighted with our experience there. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. It was also to our advantage that we stayed during the low season and got tremendous value in terms of the cost of our accommodation.
