Nice hotel with lovely grounds unfortunately the room didn’t match the rest of the hotel. Room was small outdated with well worn furniture and the location of my room was very noisy ( above entrance to the hotel ). I would stay there again but definitely in a different location within the hotel.
We have just recently returned from a stay at the hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel room seemed to have been newly decorated and it was stunning. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the service was outstanding, the meal itself was delicious and to top it off the very friendly staff were so helpful. After we had our meal we went to the bar were there was live music on and plenty of tables available , the service at the bar was quick and there was plenty of floor staff collecting glasses and on hand to help. The next morning we had breakfast at 10am there was lots of tables available and the buffet was well stocked, you could see a continuous flow of fresh food from the kitchen. Once again there was lots of staff available and of course all extremely helpful. After a beautiful walk around the hotel and by the lake we checked out and left. This hotel is absolutely stunning with duper amenities wonderful staff and delicious food we will definitely be back !!!! …
Well what can I say we had a fantastic stay the staff were brilliant. Our room was large and great bathroom everything was spotless The food was amazing the breakfast was outstanding .The restaurant food was outstanding as was the barfood
The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfy. There were so many nice touches in the room , like bottles of presseco, water, and chocolates. There was plenty of tea and coffee too . Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. Very friendly and they made sure your stay was a happy one.
This is an excellent hotel for a family break, with good leisure facilities, and some very impressive family rooms. The food and drink choice is top class, you can check in and have no need to leave until you check out, however the surrounding area is well worth exploring, with Belvedere house on the doorstep, and Mullingar town just a short drive away. The hotel is clean and most of all any of the hotel staff we met were professional, helpful and friendly.
Just home from a 2 night stay in this wonderful hotel, we where a family group of 32 celebrating a special birthday. Each and every member of staff went out of their way to look after us,,check in was v efficient, staff very welcoming, bedrooms where updated and very cool and modern, great value for what we paid, breakfast was good, tasty food and great staff, dinner in bar was lovely and we had a full area reserved for our family, dinner in restaurant also good, again the waiting and bar staff where amazing, beautiful reception area, warm fire, ideal for lounging around, swimming pool and leisure centre lovely, great coffees, beautiful grounds, great location just outside Mullingar Town. All in all a very family friendly hote.lWould recommend and will return .
A very enjoyable stay at Bloomfield Hotel. We were upgraded to a larger room, it was very spacious. The hotel staff were extremely efficient, polite and helpful. Special thanks to Trish in the restaurant a lovely person and so good at her job. The food from the bar and restaurant at different times was of a very high standard. We had an issue with children running around until 01.30. The night staff spoke to them and all was good (not sure where the parents were!) Great facility at the Spa/pool. I would definitely recommend it.
Myself and my two daughters went for the Ultimate Spa Package. It was very good value. We really enjoyed the treatments. The staff were excellent. April is a very professional member of staff who made me feel very comfortable. Lunch was also included which was very tasty and a lovely experience.
No hesitation in giving this five stars… I travel for work and on this occasion I needed a halfway place to stay. The website looked impressive but unfortunately the time of year meant that I wouldn’t be able to walk around the grounds. The reception was open and welcoming and the fella that booked me in knew the place well. On asking if I was going to use the leisure facilities he directed me from my room… The gym is what you would expect with a mix of CV machines, free weights, etc. and it wasn’t stupid busy for a January. The sauna and steam rooms were up to the job too. I made use for an hour or so then back to the room and down to the bar for a steak sandwich which didn’t disappoint and chips which tasted incredibly fresh. The head barman was a great fella and we had a bit of banter… Off to bed in a room which was perfect for my needs and a great nights sleep and after another shower I made my way down for an early breakfast. Pretty standard stuff here with the buffet but I requested some fresh eggs and these were delivered in double quick time… Back to the room to get some work done and this worked well for me as a facility and I managed to get all my devices charged before effortlessly checking out… I will definitely stay here again, absolutely perfect for my needs……
Choose this hotel as our wedding venue, and in our opinion this should be your only choice as a wedding venue. I couldn't fault a thing, from start to finish, the attention to detail was 100%, this hotel has it all. A massive thank you to the management and staff of the Bloomfield House Hotel, particularly Abbigail, Sharon and Deborah. Returned in December for the Fawlty Towers dinning experience and land of lands with family and friends and continued to receive the same top service. Have already booked my next return.
