Dympna and Sean have obviously been in the business for years. Everything you need is in your room - from shampoo to a hair dryer on the wall. Sean greeted us with a friendly smile, gave us a key and showed us our room. We had a great night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We only stayed...

Hilltop Country House is just outside of Mullingar with easy access to the city and close to Clonmacnois and Newgrange. Dympna & Sean have a beautiful house and exquisite garden in a very quiet location. They are gracious hosts and serve a wonderful breakfast.

We spent just one night here on a cold wet summers evening in Mullingar. We were welcomed in and shown a very nice comfortable room. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens and very quiet. We slept very well and next morning enjoyed a very tasty breakfast before heading away. Its a very nice place to stay - highly recommended.

Sean and Dympna always offer a warm welcome. Comfortable accommodation in a very attractive location. Breakfast is excellent and local knowledge second to none. Found no where better in the area and always look forward to visting them. Very well located when travelling across the country. Very good value for money.

Very nice B&B in Mullingar. Friendly, welcoming hosts, beautiful rooms and sitting room and of course full Irish breakfast. The breakfast was one of the best we had in our travels. My only complaint is that the shower was difficult to manage.

We chose to stay an extra day in Mullingar, and were advised by some local residents to try Hilltop. Next visit we will stay there the entire trip! The Guest House is elegantly decorated, but still very warm with a full sized sitting room with fireplace. It is quiet and is surrounded by a beautiful garden that looks more like...
