This is a four star establishment. Theresa is sooh friendly and welcoming. our room was first class, immaculately clean and quite large with a great en-suite. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed the good quality sheets and pillows. Breakfast is superb and fills you up until dinner. Try the poached eggs supplied by her own hens! We had a great view of Ardmore and the sea. Outside the garden is just beautiful. so much colour to enjoy. We highly recommend. Try it - you will not be disappointed.
The first thing I want to say is, this place understands the needs of travelers! We were very happy to see LOTS of outlets in our suite for charging up our phones, computer, cameras, etc. That was very much appreciated. The owners were very friendly and helpful in giving us information on the area town and restaurants, which we enjoyed visiting as well. Our room had a very comfortable queen size bed, great amenities: TV, electric teapot with real cups and saucers, nice bathroom, and a great view of the farm animals in the meadow out back. We had a very delightful full Irish breakfast with menu to order what we wanted in the morning. I loved this B & B, and hope to visit again in the future.
Teresa and Maurice were so pleasant and welcoming. The country house and the beautiful grounds made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The rooms and beds were comfortable with great views of the countryside. We enjoyed eating breakfast in their sunny breakfast room and the generous portion of smoked salmon served along with poached eggs was our favorite. My daughter and I enjoyed going out into the fields to hang out with the farm animals - donkeys, cows, goats and horses. The B&B was a short drive to Ardmore, a coastal town with a rich past. The Ardmore Cliff Walk has beautiful views of the coastline and takes you by the round tower and cathedral dating back to the 12th Century.
A very warm welcome from the owners. My wife immediately loved the place. Breakfast was great, they have a wide selection of breakfast staples and then you can choose from a nice menu! The rooms are basic but extremely comfortable, the best bed we've had on our road trip so far! The shower is small but has amazing water pressure so it felt great. On top of it all it's a farm and it has a nice garden. It is close to a motorway which had me worried, but the rooms are double glassed so no noise at all. It is actually very practical because you're quickly on your way! We also got some useful tips from the owner so we could explore the area. In summary, this place has/does everything you could expect from a B&B and executes it perfectly.
Our host was very helpful with local tips and the gardens and farm were lovely. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. We had a great breakfast and explored nearby Ardmore and found it adorable. We were really impressed by our experience.!
