We spent 3 days here at the beginning of our Ireland trip. The family room was spacious- And the hotel was kind enough to add a cot so the 4 of us could sleep comfortably (kids hate sharing beds!) Breakfast every morning was full of variety and very good, and dinner (which was included in our package) was always excellent....

I decided to bring my children away for the mid term after reading the reviews I knew it could be hit and miss.So I rang and asked to book a newly refurbished room the receptionist was so rude and obnoxious, her attitude tone of voice and way she responded was so ignorant. "I cannot garentee that" so I said ok...

Stayed here on a weekend break. Hotel could be described as old fashioned or even a wee bit dated, but definitely not tired. The fact that this place is old fashioned just adds to its charm. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, the rooms scrupulously clean and tidy. The wine bar was lovely and the Smithwicks ale excellent....

Visited here with family. Clean and lovely quiet trip. Some of our group played golf and loved it, said it was a quality course. The breakfast was grand but the nearby places to visit were the big selling point.

Nice location, great beach. Reception and bar area really nice, however, the bedrooms are in need of updating and the curtains were so flimsy that you were awake too early in the morning. The spa area is really nice and we both had treatments including the seaweed baths. Lunch was nice.

They are in the process of reburbishing rooms so could be a bit of pot luck but regardless room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Mattress could do with being replaced though! Breakfast was very good on...

Nothing could be more impressive first of all than the surroundings. The views are out of this world and lots of walking areas. The hotel has that old world Victorian charm and elegance. The staff is above all local and friendly and so helpful. Was it perfect, for the price we didn't even expect this much and would go again. The rooms are spacious but don't...

I was a bit worried about our trip after reading so many negative comments on here first. I had contacted the hotel before our arrival to request one of the newly refurbished bedrooms, which is what we got, with a fantastic sea view too! The hotel is a bit tired looking, and I would expect the previous complaints would have...
