Very new and modern B&B. Had a great visit with the O'Hara family. Easy walk to town and very nice dinner options at Abbey Hotel. Free wifi, comfy beds, roomy showers and quiet room. We were in the area doing family research and the Ross House was a restful respite.

My daughter and I checked in for an overnight stay at this lovely B and B in Roscommon. The property is close to the town center, but just far enough away that it is quiet. We were met on arrival and showed to our very nice family room. My daughter said she hasn't slept so well as long as she can remember (she is eight), and thoroughly enjoyed her first Irish breakfast ever. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and helpful. This is a great option for anybody visiting the area.

Our family were having a reunion in Roscommon and I booked my two elderly Aunts (aged 91 and 89) into Ross House. Teresa went over and above to ensure they were looked after. She treated them with such kindness that they can't wait to return again next year for our annual family reunion. Thank you very much Teresa.

We stayed here from 26th June to the 3rd July and we were amazed at the kindness and hospitality of Teresa, such a genuine person. She cooks a wonderful full Irish breakfast with white and black pudding. The bread, rolls and soda bread are delicious and she also provides plenty of cereals and seasonal fruits. You can help yourself to tea and coffee plus cakes and biscuits day and night, needless to say we have put on a few pounds but we were on holiday and it was so tempting. Everywhere in the house is spotless and very nicely decorated. So pleased we chose Ross House and would recommend to anyone looking for b and b near Roscommon town.

Stayed here with my work colleagues on a short work visit. The b&b is beautifully decorated and in immaculate condition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very clean and modern. The lady who runs the b&b is very friendly and welcoming. Very much appreciated the tea and chocolate biscuits before bed!! Will definitely stay again.

Fabulous friendly place to stay. I stayed two nights. Comfortable, clean, 10 min walk into town centre. Large rooms, lovely views on a quiet road. Colleagues of mine left their hotel and stayed in Ross House too. It where we'll stay the next time we're in the area.

I had a lovely time at this excellent B&B in Roscommon. Teresa, the owner, could not have been more accommodating and friendly. 2 or our party were going to Galway to catch a bus to Dublin because that is what we had been told to do. When she heard what the plans were, she suggested they leave from Athlone instead, saving us miles of driving and hours of travel time. Then she went above and beyond, trying to get a refund for the tickets they had purchased. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Breakfast was beautifully laid out. You will not be disappointed in a stay at Ross House B&B.

Well situated B&B for exploring further north or just a stopover on return to Dublin. Within walking distance of town and a small park with the Roscommon Castle. Teresa is an excellent host, ensured we had everything we required. Room and and ensuite bathroom were large and spotless. Bed was comfortable. Choose continental breakfast and was provided selection of fruit, yoghurt, scones, croissants, jams, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. More than enough to start the day. Would definitely stay again. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the steer in the adjacent field frolic.

I had a great time in Roscommon. I was in Rosscommon playing music for the weekend with my mate Brats. The Guinness was flowing lovely in Murray's Bar and most other pubs in the town. An Tobair and JJ Harlo's were also particulaly hospitable to us and let us play away. Teresa in Ross House was amazing. The breakfast was great and the morning coffee made the difference. The rooms were spotless in this fabulous house. One thing for sure, I'll be back. Thanks a million Teresa, you tied the whole weekend together :)

I was playing a gig in Roscommon so a friend of mine found this bob for us. Teresa picked my friend up from the train station. It was only a 5 minute taxi drive into the town square. Some great pubs. We ended up staying an extra night. Teresa had the breakfast made both mornings and what a lovely breakfast it was. The double room we shared was very comfortable and we had our own bathroom and shower The dining area is also a common room where we met travelers from around the world. If you are staying in Roscommon stay in Ross House!
