Attended a wedding here. It was beautiful! Stayed at the hotel, the room was pretty, the food delicious- full irish breakfast and would recommend the stew in the evening. A perfect venue for a wedding!

THE best venue in Ireland to have your wedding! Myself and my wife spotted this place on "don't tell the bride" back in 2013 and said if we ever got married this place would be our first to visit. We got engaged a year later,...More

Lovely quaint wedding venue. Old worldie. Aidan the Wedding manager made everyone feel welcome and had great time for the children. The ceremony was held in the mill and was very personal. Then headed over to the Mill House when the fires were blazing for...More

Spent a whole day here recently at a wedding, honestly I could not recommend the place highly enough, the location is fantastic, service is second to none and the accommodation is exceptional, a large number of the room overlooking the river Boyne. The wedding and...More

Anyone know how many people the ceremony room, the old mill can hold? Also if an official Catholic ceremony can be held here? Thanks

Hi Sinead. The venue is very beautiful and intimate. 100 guests would be a tight squeeze but not impossible. 2 Catholics can get married by a Catholic priest anywhere with the permission of the Bishop

I am getting married in the Millhouse next October. I absolutely love the venue and can't fault it however I am a little nervous about the size of the room for the band after the meal. We are hoping to have less than 150 but just would like to know is it very squashy and also when they take away chairs and only have seating for 60 people how is it enough?

There is more than enough room. If you are worried you can always get a marque extension
