This was warm, friendly and cheerful with beautiful setting and gardens. The owner was most welcoming and helpful and ready to offer assistance with transport to the nearby visitor centre for Newgrange. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting the area, having spent two nights there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We've had a camper van for about ten years now and have stayed in many campsites over the years but I must say that never have we enjoyed any as much as this one. We were only meant to stay the one night but kept coming back each night for our whole holiday. The kids were allowed to feed the...

Loved everything about this place! Fantastic conversion of old milking parlour into brightly decorated, clean and spacious accomodation. Well equiped kitchen, comfy beds, friendly animals (both staff and up in the field!!). Helped ourselves to a few home grown veggies - a welcome addition to that evening's meal. Verdict: 10/10 from all the family!

This camp-site is really sweet. We went with our three year old just looking for a nice peaceful weekend camping. If you are looking for fancy mod-cons, it's not really that sort of place. It is rustic and charming. The owner is lovely-genuinely friendly and welcoming. It is very child friendly, they have hens, pigs, a donkey and goat. Small...

Thank you so much for your review! I know exactly when you stayed here because the group that came were very lould and annoying to other guests. They are not welcome back here ever again. Normally the campsite is very quiet by 11pm and we never needed rules as people are so nice and accommodation to other people. This weekend...

This place is very clean, very well kept and organized. I stayed in an ensuite room which was comfortable. The location is good, only c.1km outside Slane village. The hostel kitchen is clean and well equipped. The room I stayed in (there were three such rooms) was a bit dark as there is glass over the door, and a small...

Hi, Thanks for your review! If there is one thing we could change it would be the showers. We are looking into it at the moment as it qould be a big job and would take quite a bit of time so we would need to be closed. The showers are in place since we opened in 2000 and at...

My 4 year old convinced me to take her camping so after some research of campsites nearish to Dublin I decided on this one. I spoke to a kind gentleman on the phone who was very helpful. On arrival the place was cute clean and well laid out. Got our tent put up. Went off to Tayto Pk and arrived...

What a wonderful find. We stayed in a family cottage on our way through from the north to Dublin. The cottage was homely, spacious and well equipped. I wish we had more time to explore this beautiful area. If you are planning a trip make sure you stay at least a few nights. Gemma is a delightful host, warm, welcoming...

We stayed here for 5 nights in a 6 bed cottage. It was well kitted out and comfortable yet unique, interesting and quirky! The children absolutely loved the setting which had farm animals they could look at and feed. There is a great area outside the cottage where they could play and we even had guests over on our last...

A group of us stayed here recently for a wedding at Tankardstown House and it was lovely spot for a very affordable 30e a night (per person, in a private double)!
