Visited Rock Farm with my Wife, daughter and two Grandsons for a two night break. We stayed in one of the Yurts and had a fantastic stay. The Yurt was clean comfortable and well equipped and maintained. The facilities were in my opinion excellent. The shared kitchen space was large and well equipped. The shower and was area is good and the toilets are basic but clean and functional. There is a hot tub and pizza oven and sustainability and the environment is obviously a key factor in the farms ethos. I can honestly say that we all enjoyed one of our best family breaks at the farms. My Grandsons particularly enjoyed the swimming pond and walks around the woods. The area is spacious and set in an idyllic and peaceful location. The staff were helpful and clearly care about the farm. It is ideal for a family break and would recommend.…
I stayed in one of the Shepherd's Huts with my 6 yo son. With it being early January it was really quiet and we barely saw anyone else, but that wasn't an issue. We were worried a bit about it being cold but the Hut was very cosy. The Shack was a bit cooler, but probably due to being such a big space and lack of people. It was clean, tidy and a great little adventure. Very good value too.
Glamping or the lime house your going to have a brilliant time here,,the place is well run by all staff.lots of animals and wild life to see on your way up from the main gate you might think you have just entered the gates to Jurassic park, brilliant place💯👍👍👍👍👍
Fantastic time staying with rock farm. Self check in system is seamless and could not have felt in a safer place where covid is concerned. we stayed in the YEW Yurt which was so beautiful and cosy the welcome pack made everything easy to enjoy. we Took trips to Drogheda for supplies and food but wasn't needed as the farm provided pizza packs, BBQ packs and breakfast packs. The farm itself beautiful with little piglets near by and pheasants everywhere. Great communal toilet, shower, kitchen, pizza oven and BBQ facilities. Loads to do such as the camp fire, outdoor swimming, hot-tube, walks and water sports! we loved it so much we book an extra night in the shepherds hut which too was beautiful but personally we be returning to the yurts!(beds were very comfy!) The girls in the office are brilliant and so welcoming as are the staff about the farm keeping everything stocked and clean. The farmers market on a Thursday is a must ( Indian street food was amazing as were the doughnuts!). Look forward to returning soon!…
Had a great few days at rockfarm. Weather wasn't the best but we made the most of our stay. Great place for families, yurt was spacious, fire kept it lovely and warm, ideal facilities at our disposal and plenty of fun to be had. Had a lovely tour of slane Castle situated right beside rockfarm. Sadly the hottub was booked out but Brilliant fun was had with the pizza making and kayaking. Would definitely recommend. If bringing kids would recommend some games to bring also.
We booked a last minute 2 night stay at Rock Farm in one of the Bell tents. The tent comprised of 2 single beds and a double which worked perfectly as we are a family of 4. There is plenty of space in the tent for any additional kid’s games or teddys you may bring. The set up is very good, with plenty of space between tents. It is very family focused with plenty of children about- The environment is very safe and great to allow kids to explore without any concerns. Important to note it is a working farm, so usual farm rules apply! Food wise we brought our own breakfast and ordered pizza through Rock Farm- full facilities to cook your own either in a pizza or conventional oven. Overall an enjoyable two days. Good weather did help. We also booked the kayaking on the Boyne- a really wonderful experience and great guides who made the day.…

Wonderful day on the river - made a raft, paddled in a Canadian and kayaked. Amazing experience, all organised and led by Dave, who was fantastic with the children and adults. Great company, laid back attitude whilst making sure everyone was properly kitted out and safe. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Had a great trip on the river yesterday. I don't have smaller children but there were some in the group & Dave was brilliant with them & put them at ease. would really recommend - particularly if you have smaller children .
