Detailed Reviews
My wife and I stayed at Rathaldron Lodge for 2 nights whilst we were in County Meath to attend a friend's wedding (21st-23rd Sept 18) - Helen was a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble - even when we were delayed on our flight over from Edinburgh (Ryanair....no surprises there) and didn't arrive at the Lodge until after 1AM, Helen still greeted us in a friendly manner.
The breakfast was brilliant - great selection of continental offerings followed by a perfect full Irish breakfast and a nice pot of tea!
Helen also went over and above the norm you would expect from a Host- first of all she could see that we (well maybe just me) were a little delicate from the night before and let us check out at midday instead of 11AM and secondly, gave us a lift to the wedding venue where we had left our hire car.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and would definitely look to stay here again if we ever return to the area.

Helen runs the perfect place just outside Navan. You get the feel of the countryside, while been smack in the middle of an area with lots and lots to see and do if you like history or beautiful scenery or walking - or all of this.
Breakfast was something extraordinary, with choices really posh hotels would find it difficult to match, whether you like coffee and croissant, proper outmeal porridge or the full Irish breakfast.
Helen had lots of suggestions for things to see and do, and was very helpfull, whether is was wool shops, walking paths or when to see different sights.
The house is beautiful, and the room nice with a very good bed and a (very clean) bath room in-suite.
You might prefer to have a car when staying here as it is a little outside the town centre.
We would definitely stay here again when in the area and would also recommend it to picky friends.
