Great family room...catered for all our needs. Breakfast choices were provided other than the usual full Irish....comfortable beds and just located on the outskirt of town...walk of about 10min from Carlingford centre...highly recommended

We stayed here on our first night after Dublin. It was a well appointed, roomy and had plenty of room to park which is a premium in many places in Ireland. The breakfast was one that would carry one for the day and tasty. We would stay there again and recommend it highly.

We stayed one night in Grove house - nicely located a little outside of the village. The rooms are nice and clean and fine for a one night stay. The owner however is formidable and almost makes you feel like you're intruding in her home rather than staying in a commercial establishment. Breakfast itself is a solemn affair with everything... My wife and I stayed at Grove House on 19th September 2014 for one night to attend a wedding in the picturesque town of Carlingford, Ireland. We arrived 3 hours before the official check-in time of 4pm (which I think is a bit late, especially as we wanted to get ready for the wedding at 3:30). The whole house was... More

Have just returned from grove house B and B and can say it was a very pleasant place to stay. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again as well as recommending to family and friends alike. The accommodation is situated a short distance from the centre of carlingford and the walk is... More

I spent two nights there recently with a group of friends. I would describe our group as mature and respectful. The house looks impressive and the grounds are very nice. You had to order breakfast the night before (crazy) and a number of the items that were ordered were unavailable. Wendy the owner was anything but friendly or hospitable, we... More

Recently spent 2 nights in Grove House with a group of friends. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and very clean and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast was poor quality with cheap sausages and pudding which more than likely were pre-cooked and re-heated in the microwave. You had to pre-order your breakfast the night before on a sheet... More

This B&B is about a 5-10 minute walk out of Carlingford. We had a very warm welcome from Wendy the owner who showed us to our room which was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent; there is a good selection each morning. I would recommend Magees Bistro to eat in the village, the food and service was... More

Our second visit to Grove House and as last time we were not disappointed. Lovely room, well decorated and a comfortable bed. Wendy provides great hospitality and a superb breakfast with a choice each morning. If you want a few relaxing days by the sea try out Carlingford and Grove House. We hope to return again in the autumn.
