Today I had an amazing treatment such as hot stone massage with mini facial performed by very professional therapist Inga, massive thank you to her I really enjoyed my treatment. Loved the spa area , clean, warm, with very nice smell :)
We have spend over 550 euros in this hotel per one night. The room was fine , but had some small details that impeded us to appreciate the luxury of 4 starts. Our room was facing the back of the hotel, with ceiling too low and beds were to big for that small room and has made room to look a bit" phobic" .The bathroom didn't have a fan. The space in between the table and the beds was restricted and it was difficult to walk around beds , except if you are in a good form to jump over them. The spa facilities was a complete disappointment: The treatment it is far too expensive (120 euros for 30 minutes massage) and we were felt rushed to leave after the treatment. Even though, there was another hour before their closing time, it felt like the staff was rushing to close the premises. We were not shown the spa facilities around. We had to search it for ourselves. Also, filling in the forms and changing in the dressing gowns were included in the charge of the treatment. The spa relaxing room was cold and uninviting. The last few grapes were soggy and unhygienic . The room was too dark and the cushion had a smell of sweat. Dressing gowns were not fluffy and had a smell of massage oils, giving the impression that it was used before by someone else. The issue brought to the manager Dermot , wasn't successful. He was arguing in front of other customers , proving we were wrong The staff were friendly , but can not recommend this hotel at all ,considering my awful experience.…
new year’s eve. we took a mad fit and decided to stay new years eve. arrived to a great check in . the hotel was beautifully decorated for xmas. our room was lovely , really clean, lovely pictures. The bed was the best nights sleep i’ve had in a long time. great duvet too. we had a walk around the town , got lunch , bought a pair off boots! lol. Then got changed and went to the bar for a few drinks before dinner . the staff could not do enough for you . so down to earth and helpful . cocktails were nice. we had dinner in the restaurant, food was fabulous. Then we seen new year in , in the bar , there was a disco, Had a great nights sleep and lovely breakfast. . honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. i’d love to go back now and see the pool and use the spa. great place
The rooms where expensive, some of the are dated, the staff were rude at dinner, made issue with our dietary requirement's, check in was awful, left waiting, and room wasn’t ready until hour after advised. Food was very nice, but not enough to make me want to return.
Having stayed previously we were looking forward to coming back to enjoy a family wedding and spend the New Year break in a fantastic hotel, the wedding was fantastic but unfortunately the hotel did not live up to our expectations. The hotel disappointed on many levels and this is a brief list of issues. No iron and ironing board provided in the room. Room not set up for three people (triple room) (water, glasses, toiletries, towels etc). Bathroom mirror light not working. Main bathroom light full of dead flies. Only a handful of hangers provided. Rooms in need of refurbishment (tatty). No space in restaurant for breakfast and bar area tables not set up. Each morning restaurant had run out of breakfast items. Very limited menu in the evening (due to lack of provisions) – You knew how many people were staying! For the very high price paid, this was completely unacceptable.…
Had a fantastic time , every staff member was friendly and attentive, nothing was too much , food was amazing drinks were stunning, service was second to none, the room upgrade we received really made the trip , it was stunning, I have been here previously to use spa and eat at the restaurant and would go back
Stayed for one of our friends weddings in December . The whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Hotel, staff , food and rooms were also ten out of ten rating in our book . Would definitely have no problem to reccomend to anyone to stay here !
Very disappointed in our experience of the four seasons Hotel. We were given a connecting room for our stay, and it was horrible. No sleep whatsoever because of the noise next door. Is this what to be expected of the four seasons Hotel? I hate to complain and I thought I'll just put up with it for the night but the morning was unbearable and too late to change rooms even if there was any available. I understand the rooms are dated and they're getting upgraded in the new year but a connecting room should be flagged when booking as you're paying enough. I would never have booked the hotel if I knew the room we would get. I stay in carlingford quite often and this was the first time staying in the four seasons and if this experience is what to be expected, I'll not be returning.
Lovely hotel, decor was very festive, staff were really lovely, food was great, pool fab, location and proximity to town centre was brill (I’m disabled and could walk it comfortably with ease). Highly recommend.
What a lovely stay. A perfect little Christmas treat. Fantastic helpful welcoming staff. Great food and beautiful relaxing room. Followed by a lovely spa experience with equally fantastic staff. Thank you and merry Christmas to all your staff xx
