Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Always a great welcome and you soon feel relaxed and at home The Restaurant Food is very good The Restaurant’s Staff are very welcoming and always there to help and certainly look after your needs It’s difficult to read name badges because it would be nice to tell you about some pretty special people but I did read Pauline’s who welcomes you with a smile The Breakfast is very special something for everyone I have Cereals ,then a Irish breakfast followed by some toast and maybe a slice of fresh pineapple and melon With a great cup of decaf tea and the ladies are very attentive and you can have a great breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere I discovered if you are away very early you can have a cracking continental breakfast too to see you on your way I now call this place one of my happy places Christmas is coming and the decorations are just superb and done with style nothing Tatty just a bit of class I shall be back in the Spring and maybe have a swim and a few exercises The Hotel in near the Curragh and other race Horse facilities the Irish Stud is wort a visit toom

Huge room, immaculately clean and tidy , lots of wardrobe space , big bathroom with a bathtub and amazing service . Especial thanks to the barman who produced platters of sandwiches long after food service had stopped ...and the staff in the restaurant who lit candles for us every evening during dinner ...thanks so much

Nice hotel which was busy the week end we were there (Bank Holiday week end). they cater for functions like birthdays and christenings as well as business events, so the hotel was busy with private functions als0. We were on a 2night BB/evening dinner one night offer. I will say the food on both nights was superb. average price of a main course €19/€20. Bottle of wine €29. We chose the 2nd night for our included 3 course meal. It was really nice. A pint & G n T €14.20 which is the average price, indeed it would be more closer to Dublin. The room was fine, it was a delux so was nice and big, decor a little tired, but that never bothers me. No robes in the room tho. leisure centre was fine, looked a bit dated, but that may have been the look they were trying to achieve!. My one and only criticism is the Lobby area where the casual seating for a drink after dinner was cold. The radiators were off as was the gas fire. Also the corridors down to the rooms were cold but there is a lot of glass windows with no curtains so not easy to keep the heat in on the corridors, however, the heating should be on in the lobby. We didnt enjoy that aspect, and for us, that is as much part of a get away as anything else, chilling after dinner with a few drinks. The seating area lacked atmospheres and warmth.

The Keadeen Hotel is well run with attention to detail evident everywhere. The rooms are spacious ; bedding excellent with comfortable furniture. The accommodation areas are well spread out and are peaceful at night. The breakfast rooms are well laid out, linen table cloths and well staffed. The breakfast buffet is superb. The staff in all areas are professional and courteous. The only disappointment was that the leisure area closed early on the Sunday of the bank holiday. We attended a reunion in the Beech Room which was very well run by a dedicated staff. Highly recommend.

We were out for a spin on Sunday and ended up in Portlaoise, decide to have dinner out and headed to Heritage Hotel, no tables for non residents so decided to head to Newbridge and the Keadeen Hotel for dinner. I first visited here for dinner in February 1977 after the dealer launch of the original Ford Fiesta in Mondello Park. The food was excellent that day. I attended a few Honda training course there too in the early 2000’s. Lovely room, great food and the friendliest staff. Our middle daughter had her wedding reception here in 2016 and it was a perfect day in a lovely setting. On all our visits over the years, I have never had one complaint. Our dinner on Sunday was perfect as usual. It’s a little gem, privately owned with the nicest staff you could meet anywhere. Congratulations to the owner, management and staff, you are the BEST.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Great friendly service and massive room. The best breakfast we had in Ireland and that was with some stiff competition. The only downside was that you need to takea taxi to the Curragh racecourse or a 20 minute walk into Newbridge for the free racecourse shuttle bus. However the driver did drop us off outside the hotel on teh way back.

We had our wedding in the Keadeen last Sunday 17th, I can not compliment the staff, the venue, the food, the overall atmosphere enough... I would find myself to be a bit hard to please, however this hotel went way beyond our expectations. Our guests were seriously impressed with everything, the value and luxury of the rooms and comfort of the hotel and of course the wedding facilities... A special mention to Anthony, Gráinne, Sharon and Launa, in fact everyone who helped us out on the day and for the lunch the day after, congratulations to the hotel, keep up the good work..
