Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for one night while attending a family wedding, the bnb is lovely, large clean bedroom, en suite, beautiful garden and friendly dog that likes a little rub, enjoyed a first class breakfast cooked by the lovely owner Anne. Very reasonable rate of 75€ for 2 people. If I have any need to return to Kildare I’d most definitely stay here again.

Had such a fabulous stay with Anne at The Curragh Plains b&b. I was attending a family wedding solo in the very nearby (5min drive) Keadeen Hotel. Most welcoming arrival; beautiful surroundings and very comfortable ensuite bedroom complete with all you would need. Ann herself even dropped me to the door of the hotel which was so kind of her! Breakfast .. one of the nicest full Irish breakfasts I’ve had .. couldn’t recommend Anne and The Curragh Plains B&B highly enough - she does a fantastic job and it’s so reasonably priced !

What a joy it was to spend three days with Pauline and Martin. Great attention to the comforts of home, not the usual sterile environment but a real Irish home. The food was excellent and the location was spectacular . Spent a snowstorm there and we all got to know the owner rather well. Very helpful and kind, I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone who really wants to know the Irish people during their trip abroad.

We booked three rooms for four nights, travelling from England for a funeral. We got a warm welcome from Anne and her lovely dog Sammy. All rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed including Saorview TVs, ironing facilities, wardrobe and very comfy beds. A delicious breakfast was served each morning whenever we wanted it and there's a cosy lounge with TV, fridge and sofas we could use anytime. The B&B is just a few minutes drive away from the Curragh, Newbridge, Kilcullen, etc. We'll be staying again next time we're over.

Stayed here last week as we were attending a wedding nearby. I would highly recommend this b&b, comfortable homely rooms, beautiful gardens and a very welcoming host in Anne. And of course the hearty full irish breakfast in the morning just topped of a wonderful stay.
