I stayed in mountainside b and b while on business in letterfrack basic accommodation with basic facilities but for the price I can't complain I was met by the owner and spent a pleasant hour in his company rooms are basic I had shared bathroom the breakfast was continental but plenty of choice and good coffee ideal for back-packers or those on a budget

Michael is the friendliest host we've had in Ireland so far. The room was clean and cosy and had an en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was also good. The Bnb is on the edge of the village of letterfrack at the entry of the Connemara National Park.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place and we felt very comfortable. Michael is a really nice and friendly guy and we had many laughs with him. Thanks for this extraordinary memory of Ireland and the friendly and welcoming Irish.

I spent one night with my wife in Mountainside B&B. It's well located and the owner is really gentle and helpful. Also the breakfast was enough. I suggest this place, wonderful to visit Connemara area.

Gut gelegen am Ortsrand von Letterfrack, alle interessanten Punkte des Ortes sind problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer und Sanitäranlagen sind in gutem Zustand. Das Frühstücksbüffet war reichhaltig und gut. Also alles Bestens. Das Beste aber ist Michael, der Gastgeber. Wir wurden sofort bei der (unangemeldeten!) Ankunft auf eine Tasse Tee eingeladen. Es gab jede Menge gute Tipps, was man tun könnte und wo es das beste Abendessen gibt. Und: Michael spricht neben Englisch auch Gälisch! Und gibt dieses Wissen auf Wunsch auch gerne weiter. Go raibh maith agat, Michael!

Un bon b&b calme, propre et accueillant. Mickaël et sa femme sont très sympathiques. Il nous a donné des explications sur la tourbe et nous a préparé un très bon petit déjeuner. Bref je recommande cet endroit .

Es ist war ein unkomplizierter und lustiger Aufenthalt. Preisleisteistung verähltnis stimmt. Es hatt eine kochnische die man benützen kann wenn man gerne am abend selber kochen möchte.... Ist zu Fuss schnell im zentrum...... Das Zimmer und das Frühstück ist beides soweit super.

Excellent accueil de Mickael et de sa femme Christy à Letterfrack, tout petit village au pied de Diamond hill.. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre familiale pour 4 spacieuse, propre et confortable et bien profité des commodités de la grande cuisine à disposition. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et très copieux. Mickael et sa femme sont de très bons conseils, nous avons plaisanté avec Mickael qui est un spécialiste des sites mégalithiques ....et des œufs à la coque qu'il aime rebondissant!! Le parc national du Connemara est tout près, l'abbaye de Kilymore à 4 km et la Sky road démarre à proximité.On reviendra avec grand plaisir !

We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's Mountainside B&B. The room was very comfortable, self-catering option was brilliant and breakfast was delicious! Michael was very welcoming and lovely. Really great value for money, would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely stay here, very nice hospitality (thank you Michael!), good service & great breakfast provided! The accommodation is also really close to the national park & Kylemore Abbey, therefore it is really easy to do some activities during the day (walking, cycling, etc.)
